    Always a pleasure watching Jasmin play. She’s got such a strong game, and she’s got a very determined grace about her as she moves around the table. And that outfit looks so awesome! Almost makes her look like a superhero

    Way back during my undergrad, some 45+ years ago, I worked in a pool hall that had a single "Cushion" table and the rest were 9-foot tables. There was one player that was fantastic at 3 and 4 Ball Cushion play who also played pool. He was the best pool player I ever got to play with. I lost continuously, but learned so much from his play. Every once in a while, I'd win by clearing the table after the break, but most of the wins I took off him was him just being lackadaisical. He would often come back and beat me after these, soundly. (We alternated breaks to give me practice breaking.) He was the best banker and kicker I had ever seen and using cushions integrally to his positional play.
    He was also a good guy, engineering grad student if memory serves.......These days, I'm a retired Great Grandmother. Love that the channel features female matches ! 🙂

    As much as I enjoyed watching this game I am so happy this lady plays pool. If Jasmin had decided to become a sniper I think no one on earth would be safe with that concentration level.

    It seems that the pressure is too much for Hung. She's a much better player than that, but too many self inflicted errors.

    Such a unbelievable shame that in her own country in her own city, where she grew up, the world champion Jasmin still isn't very popular. I've seen her play live 2 times already, even winning the finals, in a big hall with free entry and yet there were barely any people watching or cheering :(

    To me, this is a sport that should have no gender differentiation. Men and women should compete against each other.

      Wrong, the women would get destroyed. That is not fun or fair for anyone.

    • @no-bozos
      @no-bozos 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ynkybomber - I disagree. I've seen the women players clear the table just like men.

    • @ynkybomber
      @ynkybomber 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @no-bozos I'm sure they have. But for some reason, women just get stomped by men on average. 100 of the best players are all men. Why? No clue but it's true. This even applies to normies when they play. One of life's great mysteries. I personally think it is over a million years of hand eye coordination being a necessity survival trait for ONE of the sexes.

    Since the commentator thinks she's as good as men, why not play with the men? She's great, no doubt about that; but the men play on a different level. It's simply true. Look at the stats.

  • @monotypemesh3174
    @monotypemesh3174 ปีที่แล้ว

    Impressive skills. But I just can’t not think of this as a kids game when comparing to snooker 😅 the table looks comically small in comparison and the balls likes more the size of a bowling ball.

  • @ks9466
    @ks9466 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    why do the women get the "fit and eats healthy and likes to run" but the men don't - good players deserve to be talked about for their pool playing skills

    • @armeli
      @armeli ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It could legitimately be a big part of her persona and life. But then again I am probably too kind towards the commentators. :/

    • @7ebr830
      @7ebr830 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because men seldom find other men attractive and are therefore unlikely to want to talk about their physical features.
      I take it that you're not physically attractive and you're therfore trying to spoil the praise for those who are by using false-virtue signalling? 😜

    • @davidswanson5669
      @davidswanson5669 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If/when a man is fit/healthy and competes well in a non-athletic sport (or whatever games like pool is classified as), I guarantee his physical build will be brought up.

    • @UnderscoreZeroLP
      @UnderscoreZeroLP ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Defo heard it brought up for a guy, funny hearing a bloke say fit like that tho

    • @retardno002
      @retardno002 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My guess is because the men aren't super fit and like to run, they're pool players. This would get pointed out not only in non-athletic sports (see Pasha "Biceps" from the Virtus Pro Counter Strike team, or freakaz0id, another eSports player), but in athletic ones too. Lebron James comes to mind in the NBA or C. Ronaldo in Football. They're extra fit and that gets mentioned a lot. And not just by the commentators.
