This is the first doll Madame Alexander has done that I've liked. I was never a fan of the original MA faces. Wow, $50 for one doll? Pricey! But I guess it is a collectible, and it's bigger than a Barbie. These are neat, and an interesting take on super heroes. I can see girls getting more into the series with these dolls.

these dolls are amazing my grandma got them for me before christmas as "payment" i highly suggest getting them all also theres a portion of the dolls that are called " fan girl finds" which means they have different colors black panthers headpiece and spiky necklace are gold.... black widows hat it red .....captian americas headband has stars and spider gwens glasses are silver but i still have yet to see iron man as a fan girl find happy hunting if you chose to look for all of them

I know that this is very off topic but in your recent doll haul you got a doll named Rosie Romper she really reminded me of Sophie's and Chloe's mom since you've made retro things you could have Sophie and Chloe travel back in time to the 80's when their mom was younger and Rosie romper could be their mom younger
I love the idea (this doll is GORGEOUS) but question the quality. If you found her for $50 that was quite a deal. Her retail price is normally $80, a full $30 above the other dolls in the line because she comes with extra accessories. (There are also alternate versions of the dolls. For Black Panther her alternate comes with gold accessories.) I purchased the doll but ultimately returned her as much of the paint on her hands shed before I even finished unboxing her. At $80 that really bothered me. I wondered if it might be better to just strip the paint off as the skin tone underneath didn’t look so different but with her hands being so soft I was concerned that acetone might damage the material.
These look awesome! I'd love to get the Captain America doll, since he's my favorite Marvel superhero. I'm with you on the skin tone thing, though, the color should be in the plastic rather than painted on.
