After 2 years on ADT I put on over 30 pounds and after stopping even with diet and exercise the weight would not come off. My Dr had concern over health impacts from excess weight and I was put on a GLP-1. I lost all of the weight in 6 months and had a significant improvement in all my labs and overall health. I have been able to maintain weight loss. For me it did wonders.

Somewhat unrelated. I live in an economically depressed area with high drug use. Obesity is also a problem as well as diabetes. We've had drug clinics for awhile but we just got our first weight loss clinic recently. They're big on Ozempic.

Have you done a review on benefits/problem with taking Fenasteride?

I seem to have an increased appetite with ADT. The only place I have seen this side effect mentioned is a radiation oncology textbook. My weight has increased since starting ADT.

Question. After radiation and 18 months of ADT, I now have PSA .03 and testosterone undetectable. Can I take Tongkat ali to help bring back my testosterone?

That supplement is a myth, it does nothing. You need to find out what your LH levels are so you can determine if you have primary hypogonadism.

If your pituitary is putting out LH within range then the problem is your testicles and you'll need TRT.

At time of diagnosis, what was your estradiol and testosterone levels?
