- Thanks to Warfighter Athletic and Gun City for making this video possible. It was a great experience using the Benelli M4 for the first time. In this video I test the Benelli M4 alongside a variety of ammunition types. It is safe to say this was a fun one, pumpkins were harmed in the making of this video.

Nice shotgun. I have owned one of the Benelli M2 sporting versions since 2008. I remember buying it in Christchurch back in the day. Never wanted to upgrade. They are great. Really like the recoil operated action. Strong, lite and reliable
If only this one was mine! We had this on loan from Gun City, I now want one of my own.
As if the standard M4 wasn't sexy enough - the Entry model is even sexier. Love it.
The entry model is way too heavy. Looks cool tho.

Just ordered my 14” a couple days ago, gets here Saturday, LMAO I don’t even have the M4 yet. As soon as I saw the 14” barrel for sale I immediately purchased it (over $1000.00 😬), I remember a few years ago it was 888 dollars, very weird price. I had one, the FDE Version (got so lucky when I found a Benelli factory made FDE 7 round magazine tube, would have looked horrible with a black version or trying to match it to the factory FDE), had it all fixed up ($3500 into it 😬) then eventually had to get rid of it. I knew the second one I bought would definitely be a 14”, although (still have to talk with a lawyer) I plan on keeping the buttstock off and just running it as a pistol shotgun instead, hopefully meaning no tax stamp needed. Probably a lot easier to find the collapsible butt stock, then it will be to find the 14”, if the time comes where we no longer need a tax stamp to own a SBS. Man I can’t wait to hold that 14” barrel in my hands, and whisper sweet nothings to it, waited 6 years to find one in stock.

Bird shot dont work in my m4.
Most autoloader shotguns need at least 1235 FPS ammo for proper cycling. If you’re shooting low recoil ammo, such as those just for sporting clays, probably will not cycle. You can find number 7 or 8 shot with 1300 FPS at Walmart.

Mine runs everything flawlessly except cut shells.
Just gotta break it in, mine at first couldn’t handle target loads but after 300 rounds it works every time now
That sucks. When I first got mine I wanted to see the point at which the m4 would likely fail. I loaded alternating bird shot, 3 inch magnum, bird shot, 3 inch magnum and it cycled everything.
