I'd be happy if these videos became a regular thing. Restoration videos are so satisfying to watch.
I second this
100%
Agreed
Amen
yeah totally agree. as much as the market videos are exciting they tend to focus on the money and not the beauty of these timepieces. just imo
Absolutely love that the client wanted to keep the dial. Looks incredible, great story.
Honestly
in that case, better have more catastrophic events for him n his watches ya - so got more story to tell
Seriously, a Rolex like this is 100x more interesting than a trust-fundmariner.
Kind of want to go burn up a rolex now 🤣
Facts it honestly didn’t even look too bad just a bit too dark but the concept it 🔥🔥 literally lol that client is a real G
I lost my house in a fire in 2006 and along with it, my best friend, my dog. Among the many material items I lost, was an 1969 Omega Seamaster Soccer Timer Roulette I inherited from my father. I was wearing the 1969 Moonwatch. The house is still a pile of rubble and never thought that anything could be salvaged. This video has given me hope.
Peter - the most underrated asset to your company . Humble and loves what he does . 👊🏻 you can’t ask for more . Love the video and luxury bazaar
Appreciate this🙏🏻 that’s the truth!
@@Peterpic keep killing it bro, I love what you bring and the value to the company. You’re a very humble guy and A If you know, You know type of guy 🙏🔥
@@Peterpic ppoppoppppoppoppop9p0pp
@@Peterpic You are killing it! Great content
Watch: he'll get dumped like Chris and Nick and we'll get more Marco
Man, I hope LB are paying you a great salary. You're most valuable than any sales person. Anyone can sell for LB, when the top dogs give most of the leads.
agreed 1000000% - this is beast level "mid funnel" customer nurturement
This is exactly what I was thinking while he was doing all of this work. I wonder how much they charged for the restoration. Would be cool to know
That dial was insane 🔥
Thank you!
Would love to see more of these restoration videos. Peter is a true asset to the company with his watchmaking skills
That was one of the better videos from the last couple of months.
Insane transformation and skill. Hats off Peter, bravo
service man forget oiling
I have recently become interested in watches and watchmaking and this is actually such a amazing video guide, i feel like i understand so much more about how a watch works after watching this video! Thanks a million for taking the time to show us this, hope there is more to come!
Always so satisfying to watch these restoration videos! If I'm feeling stressed and need something calming to watch I watch one of these videos! 😌
The Rolex Phoenix! In all seriousness, this was freaking cool
Thank you Daniel! Bringing them all back from the dead😂
You know what’s crazy. This watch is definitely going up in value because of that decision with the dial. Insane watch and what a lucky guy, i hope he keeps that in his family forever.
I never comment. I mean ever. This was such a great story. Please create more of these stories showcasing the skills of Peter and the rest of the team. Thank you for creating and sharing!
Absolutely love the shared creative decision to keep the original burnt dial. Great work.
Peter, I hope you keep on doing these restoration works. You are absolutely killing it when it comes to making customers super happy by doing these restoration works.
I love restoration videos but they can be a bit long. This is nicely edited and still shows the level of detailed work that goes in. (Although it didn’t show the microscopic lubrication of the parts that I always find fascinating) Great job Peter. Great idea to keep the scorched dial!
Never too long for me. I love the details.
Ive been on TH-cam since I was like 10 years old when Akon’s “soul survivor” and lil Wayne “go dj” came out and I’m now turning 29, this is by far one of the coolest and well produced videos with explanation; but not only that also telling a story and showing a beautiful piece of art like that is absolutely amazing. Absolutely love that y’all kept the burned dial to add to the art which is Rolex, keep pumping out content like this and I’ll keep watching great job guys 👏🏼👍🏼
I am so, so happy that you and the client agreed to keep the burnt dial. It looks incredible, and it has one heck of a story to tell.
And this, friends, is why you should use independent watchmakers instead of the Rolex Service Centers. The independent watchmaker will offer creative ideas and allow you to do whatever you want with your watch (within reason and within the boundary of maintaining their parts account), like save the fire-burned dial to make the watch special to you. Rolex? They won't even give you a phone call to discuss it. They're slapping a service dial on it and you're paying for it. Period - no discussion. With the Rolex Service Center, there is no personal interaction, no relationship, no care other than pushing your watch through an assembly line of prescriptive restorations and moving onto the next one. Watchmakers like Peter treat every watch as something special, because it is. Use the independent watchmakers. Rolex Service Center wouldn't even have attempted this restoration.
Great job Peter! I’m glad that you’re able to share your watchmaking skills with others. So underrated while so important for the business like LB.
Thanks Tom! Appreciate the comment.
Brilliantly informative video. Loved watching the breakdown of the watch movement. A request for the future if you have time, it'd be nice to have an explanation/identification of the parts you're re-assembling and a bit of detail on what they do and how they do it.
I love restoration videos. Keeping the burnt dial was a great idea! 🔥
what a beautiful idea with the watch dial. love peter’s passion for watches. more videos like these please! 😍
I’m amazed by the skill and techniques displayed. I admire the dedication it must have taken to develop these skills.
Unbelievable! The skill level, the bravado, the connection for parts, the end result. All Sterling!
now this is the content we want more of. Great job Peter and the editing team.
i love ALL the content you guys put out, such great personalities who all seem in give so much in different ways. However I would like to see some more restoration and repair videos please.
I swear, I could listen to Peter all day. I’m so happy he’s on the team. Exceptional work and he’s a G!
My man, appreciate the support🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@Peterpic Hey Peter, fantastic job on this. I was wondering what fraction of the internal workings ended up needing to be replaced on this one. Were you able to use many of the salvaged parts? I love that you used the old dial.
Peter I am very impressed with your watchmaking skills. You did a great job with the restoration on the Rolex.
You definitely found your home when you got hired to work at LB.
Keep up the great work😊😊
The next thing you know people will be asking for the burnt dial Rolex. Fantastic job on this Peter.
Peter low key been my favorite character.
Comes off the most authentic to me.
You the man, thank you🙏🏻👍🏻
This is fascinating! All those tiny parts and being able to put them all back in their correct place is amazing!! I have a few pounds of watch parts that I use to make jewelry! They are so small!
👍👍. Great video!!
We need more videos like this one. Amazing work Pete!!

What an amazing piece and even better restoration, Mr sharf , this man is a keeper
That is frickin awesome! I think maybe shining up the crown on the dial would have set it off for sure.
When u first showed the watch i was really hoping u would keep the burned dial but everything else it restored. Great job u did what i wanted
Peter needs to do more videos like this. Seriously, more actual watchmaking content would be awesome.
Great job Peter. I love resto vids. Very relaxing to watch.
Absolutely insane, phenomenal job Peter, I am totally blown away!!!!!
This was a dope lil ep. Peter is a wizard.
That burnt dial on a gold rolex would look insane but it is still one of the coolest watches I’ve ever seen. 💯
That dial is actually fire! 🔥
Incredible save! That was a great choice to save the burned dial, heck of a conversation piece!
That dial is something else. Great choice in keeping it, it looks ON FIRE…..literally. Amazing restoration
There is an indescribable allure of fine timepiece repair work. the tools, skill, the components etc. just incredibly satisfying to watch
This definitely going viral!
What a cinematic masterpiece! Absolutely loved every bit of this video.
Beauty aside, I'd love to know the Track ID for the first few minutes of the video. Sounds so good.
Wow what a piece of art and a good choice on keeping the dial like that. Lots of people like patina on their dials but this burnt dial is a new kind of patina 🔥
Wow that's amazing, love that he kept the burnt dial, great job Peter 👏
That dial looks INCREDIBLE. Fantastic choice keeping that and stunning work!
How much would a restoration like this cost? Amazing 😍
Bump, I’d also like to know the restoration cost
We actually did it for free for the guy
That dial is stunning, such a powerful story behind it and so much symbolism in it. Great choice to keep it as is and also a testament that Rolex is king.
awesome idea and implementation Peter! Kudos to the client for trusting you!
I hope you documented all steps of the process in photos and presented it to the client as an album
So cool to see this process. That burned dial also looks incredible.
That burnt dial is 🔥 literally
The choice to keep the burnt dial, makes it so unique, what a beautiful transformation into this one of a kind masterpiece
More content like this PLEASE. I love the channel, but this is top tier.
Love watch restorations with a little touch.
what a cool restoration project mate! but if i may suggest, for the next resto video we would like to see the full finishing process and the list of parts that need to get replaced (if you will)
anyway, good job mate
Peter the GOAT
I try I try, thanks for tuning in!
Hands down, this my favorite watch video I’ve ever watched!!! It’s amazing how you bought the watch back to life and it was a great choice keeping the burnt “face” or dial (forgot the name). Lol
That’s beautiful. Good call to keep the dial the way you did !
New incoming trend : Burning your Rolex’s for that cool dial look 😂😂
Free Chris, Sabina, and nick!
What a story, gorgeously done.
Burnt dial. Genuis.
Had to stay… to cool to replace
It looks cooler burnt I want a burnt rolex
That's what I was thinking given that it still works the same
You have just seriously increased the value of that watch and made it so unique and desireable 👍👍
Great job Peter, super creative idea. You are such a valuable asset to LB, and an artist in your own right.
Should ditch the music and make this more of an ASMR video. You can experiment with commentary on what you are doing or just settle for graphics explaining.
Treat your employees better!
The fire-damaged dial looks cool and is very unique. No one else will have anything like that. Great choice.
This restoration is amazing! Great choice to keep the dial!
This one of the BEST VIDEO from all the series.... !!!!!!! Peter you're talented in what you do man! Keep it up. Get more of this type of video done!
Piece unique should be a regular installment / series. Restorations are interesting but when you get the story behind them it becomes fascinating. Well done in cultivating this hidden treasure
Appreciate it!👍🏻
Beautiful job on the Rolex. Leaving the dial to coincide with story was brilliant. Very cool!
The dial kept OG with damage is seriously sick! And such a stony behind it. Well done!
Very cool 😎 the dial was very much evenly burned and made that decision to keep it was key. Was great also to see the new movement many watchmakers are having trouble getting these parts and do not want to touch the new stuff. Glad you shared this!!! That’s what the relationship between watchmaker and client is all about, fun, challenging possible projects with great relationship!!
This is just awesome!!!! Leaving that dial burned up was such a great idea. Thanks for sharing this.
You Sir are one talented man ! Incredible restoration and keeping the original dial will give the owner a story to tell 👍
Someone there at LB need to learn from Peter about be humble & knowledge at the same Time... love this...0 drama.. congrats
You are very good at your watch repair skills. Good people skills.
Looks Great! Love the watch with the "Roasted" Dial. Now it`s got a story to tell. Very Cool. Great Job.
Man, that is incredible. The call on the dial was a masterstroke. Swish! 🔥
That turned out stunning.
Yo that dial actually looks so sick!
Insane… like meteorite no two will ever be the same!
I'd watch a whole channel of just peter restoring watches, customizing watches, and spotting counterfeits
The gentleman is an artist. Exceptional craftsmanship.
Im so glade you keeped the dial.
Utterly brilliant choice on reusing the burnt dial.
Beautiful
Need more .. shoutout to Peter and whoever did the editing killed it
Love it the job is perfect the watch looks great
I agree with most of these comments about the length of the video. I’m personally not going to want to watch a 30 minute restoration video. I watched this whole thing from start to finish. Great edits, great music, and a very welcoming intro. Good job here I wanna see more of these 🫡
More of these please. Peter is a superstar
This was awesome to watch, and looks amazing with the dial! SO COOL!
