I first heard this song from a divine retreat centre , which l was attending on-line . It really resonated with me. I felt that God was passing me by. Now l know that in His time, He will answer my humble prayer

My only angst is putting a piano in the woods. Most pianos will be put out of tune just moving them to a different room. What's the big wonderfulness about singing in the woods anyway? Jesus preached in the outdoors because 1) he had big crowds and 2) the rabbis wouldn't let him preach in their buildings. I hope this doesn't offend people, this music is gorgeous; I just want to inject some common sense at this point, I think we need it

She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church but she was "ecumenical" in the sense of also participating in baptist and presbyterian services. I'm not methodist but I recommend that anyone not acqauinted with methodist hymns and songwriters would do well to research their music.
