I loved this game is much, I feel like it slows during the native storyline, it didn't feel like part of the main story to me. but picks right up soon after.
Fun fact: I got to meet Roger Clark (Arthur Morgan) and Rob Weithoff (John Marston) at sac anime almost three years ago. When I met roger he was doing his Arthur voice and before we took a pic he said “you’re a good boy” I nearly cried!!! This game has really saved me from my depression and grief the story is amazing and worth replaying! To bad the online mood isn’t that great it was a wasted potential from the start.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is easily one of the best games of all time. A true work of art in design and storytelling. My brother once asked me for a synopsis of the plot and I described it as such: "It's not a world threatening scenario or ultimate evil; you're technically not even a good guy or a hero really. It's the existential crisis of a group of outlaws who spent their lives doing bad things and embracing true unfiltered freedom facing an America that is becoming more and more civilized, and with that civilization comes law and order; structure in a way that clashes with the idea of freedom and self-determination. A civilized world that will no longer tolerate them and thus we see their desperation as they try to find where they belong in this changing world. Especially the character of Arthur Morgan you play as who spent his life doing terrible things as the only things he knew how to do beginning to realize as things come to a head that maybe this isn't the type of person he was and the people who raised him and those around him are they the people they; and he himself, believe themselves to be. If this game doesn't hit all of your feels you simply don't have a soul.
"This is a world that is rich in depth and detail" is an understatement. That scene with Jimmy Brooks is fantastic, I just love how Arthur can put fear into anyone with just knowing their name.. This game is fantastic and they did not lie about anything. If you have high honor Arthur is respected and respectful, and clothing is effected. Low honor Arthur is much rude and actually curses. The Van Der Linde gang has a lot of history and the members are all interesting, and you do learn more about everyone. I love Charlie, a half black and native, that the gang happily took in during a pretty dark time in our history. The event and encounters are all randomized and really interesting. Also that cabin in the swamp is notorious, so never ever approach it, or do at your own discretion. If you've never played RDR 2010, please do, RDR2 is a prequel to the first one and much more personal if you played its predecessor. One of the most amazing games I’ve ever played. It’s so beautiful and immersive. I just wish I could experience all of it again like it’s the first time
honestly RDR2 has one of the most rich and emotionally stories in video games to date. The story itself provokes thought, questions your choices, and allows a real connection to not only the main character Arthur, but also many of the supporting cast as well. You actually care what happens to them and it's one of the few games where I was moved to tears by the time I was finished. I highly recommend that if you don't play through the game, then you at least watch the cutscenes and stories.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames There's been a whole series of Music vids set to RDR2 gameplay & cutscenes. The very first ones were set to Lil'NasX's "Old Town Road," but there's been plenty since. All worth watching. I recommend the RDR/RDR2 vids done by Miracle of Sound.

So glad this came into my recommended, the second gameplay trailer still gives me goosebumps. Currently playing through the game for the 3rd time, still finding new things. Highly recommend the first entry as well.
I remember I was riding along through the woods one day when I came across a random guy throwing up on the side of the road. He says: "Help me, I've been poisoned." So I get off my horse and give him medicine and he says: Thank you but watch out for those plants over there. They're poisonous." So I go pick some of the plants he was talking about and I unlock a recipe enabling me to put poison on my knives and arrows!
My friend told me how great it was, but i held back on it for months since I didn't really care for cowboys and i never played the 1st red dead game. Slowly as i played i fell in-love with the protagonist and the story was great. Not to mention the game is a masterpiece visually.
As a fan of the very first game, red dead revolver then red dead 1. I 100% agree with you. The moment you play red dead 2 you feel like you are in westworld. Why?, because like westworld you feel invincible and you can do whatever you want to anyone in this game world.
Guys I highly recommend this. The trailers didn't lie at all...it's actually like you saw. I barely played the game because I buy alot of games lol but because of your reaction I'm gonna play it again.😘❣️
It's much more rewarding to have good honor rather than bad honor in my opinion since people may give you valuable things or information for helping them out, and it makes for a more meaningful story in my opinion too
it's the most realistic game you'll ever enjoy that is close to real life, I bought it when it was released and till this day I haven't finished it because there's lots to do apart from missions, it's considered one of the biggest games in history.
This game.... I don't know man if its a game or something more beautiful than i could explain, this game made me care about myself and think of the future that no matter how bad you are, you can still be a good man and no matter what bad things you did, you can still do good things, I love red dead redemption 2 soooo much its the best game i ever had
It looks exactly this good the entire time you play the game. I don't know that more has been done with less, based on the available computing power of a console in it's era. Witcher 3 is up there, but I think this game is next level in that regard.
Great reaction...please start playing this game ASAP even if you do not stream it...be prepared to experience one of the best protagonists in any game ever...grown men have been known to cry at the end...it is that good of a game...I wish I could erase my memory of the game just so I could play it all over again fresh.
This game is a experience like nothing else out there, once in a life-time! You need to play it someday and finish it, it is so worth it, i know it's long, about 60 hours, but we don't get masterpieces like this everyday.
I genuinely think this is the best piece of media ever made. I have never gotten so invested or emotional than I did when playing this game and the only problem I have with this game is that it’s put my expectations too high for gaming to where every game I play now never stacks up to it and it disappoints me. It’s truly a masterpiece
Rdr 2,is truly a Incredible and unique game, with such a immense world to explore and a truly wonderful and immersive story, absolutely great characters too. A rare game indeed. Fantastic video and keep being awesome
This game is amazing, I highly recommend you either do a reaction to the full game as a movie, plenty of those around, or just play the game through. Its one of the only games I've ever experienced where you feel every emotion, I got so happy, angry and so so sad with this games story. The story in this is absolutely amazing. Arthur Morgan is one of the best told characters in video game history, you feel everything with him and you really get to know who he is as you shape his personality
@Definitely Not Definitive - Games sweet! and yes totally understandable. this game is indeed a long one. but that depends on how you play it. if you do just the story than I'd say the game isnt that long. however it's the side missions, the exploration of the beautiful wild west, the little things you can do in the game that takes up so much of our time 😂 and honestly i still recommend to do it all. it is so worth it. there's no pressure to do it soon, i am just glad u guys will play it at some point! can't wait to watch
I would marry this game if I could, it's so beautiful! The story is captivating and the controls are phenomenal! Oh and I got a recommendation here! For the other channel, Animator vs Animation 1 by Alan Becker. You might've heard of it.
By far one of … if not the best game I’ve ever played . Not my favorite mind you but this game is actually flawless. I think this is a game you guys should play. Truly incredible
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I hope it wasn’t confusing ! A lot of people think just cause it’s a flawless game it has to automatically be your fav, but it’s like art. A beautiful piece but not your fav , maybe to others yes! Lol this game is just breathtaking, so much emotion in it!
You have to play the game. There's so much details in game. Even just walking onto the snowy plain, if you have a good horse a lot of people will commend it, if you're dirty, people will avoid you, will tell you to take a bath, if you light a fire, it will spread, etc.
The best game to ever have been created❤️🔥 You gotta look up the first game as well, which this game is a prequel to (and with RDR1 taking place 11-12 years after this🥵
the thing i love about Rockstar Games is that they don't promise anything. In these gameplay trailers they say "this game is an attempt to..." and "We've tried". They source their own funding, and as a result they are required to make quality products to make a profit

😎🤟🥳
this is my favourite game can’t wait for you to play got to meet roger clark (authur) at comic con this year great guy really understands the fan base
Nice! That’s cool you got to meet him 😀
Ngl, this game introduced us to one of the best protagonists in video game history. Thank you Arthur.
😎🤟
In my opinion this is the greatest game ever made
Lot of people agree with you 🤩
This September im meeting Arthur and john comic con im so excited the game have save my life and it change me to be a better person
I remember I was riding along through the woods one day when I came across a random guy throwing up on the side of the road. He says: "Help me, I've been poisoned." So I get off my horse and give him medicine and he says: Thank you but watch out for those plants over there. They're poisonous."
So I go pick some of the plants he was talking about and I unlock a recipe enabling me to put poison on my knives and arrows!
Nice! A good deed gets rewarded 😀
Can't wait to see you guys play this! My Favourite story game of all time
☺️🤩
Ive played the game and it was fantastic and I haven’t seen the trailers till now and they look amazing
We still haven’t played this. Keep putting it off because we know it will consume our lives when we start 😅
What the hack, this game is already 4 years old? It still looks brand new. Amazing.
🤩
I love your reactions guys!
Thanks! 🥳
Every time I play this game I come across something I hadn't come across before - it's the goat!!
😎🤟🤩
My friend told me how great it was, but i held back on it for months since I didn't really care for cowboys and i never played the 1st red dead game. Slowly as i played i fell in-love with the protagonist and the story was great. Not to mention the game is a masterpiece visually.
You don’t like cowboys 😯🤠 Watch movie Unforgiven 😉 And this is a game we look forward to playing 🙂
I get that feeling that a motion picture is in the works
🤩😀
Dude this is my all time favorite video game, y’all should really try it out!
Same here. I love this game to death.
We look forward to playing it 🙂🤩
This is by far the best game I've played. Absolutely stunning!
😎🤟🤩
🤗🤗🤗 true indeed
As a fan of the very first game, red dead revolver then red dead 1. I 100% agree with you. The moment you play red dead 2 you feel like you are in westworld. Why?, because like westworld you feel invincible and you can do whatever you want to anyone in this game world.
Hadn’t realized there was a game in the series that came before rDr1 😯
Man, I love RDR1&2. RDR2 was one of my favorite gaming experiences of recent years. It’s so good. I think you guys would love it.
We think so too 😊
I'd definitely like to see you guys play this for sure and rdr 1 aswell
Fyi there's a character that is related to Trevor from GTA 5
In rdr2 there is a character related to Trevor! 😯 We could totally see that dude having cowboy outlaw roots 😛
This game truly is a modern masterpiece
☺️😀🤩
Guys I highly recommend this. The trailers didn't lie at all...it's actually like you saw. I barely played the game because I buy alot of games lol but because of your reaction I'm gonna play it again.😘❣️
Nice! Glad we could give you some gaming inspiration. Enjoy! 🥳🥳🤩
This is a game you guys must play at some point. The characters, graphics, gameplay, Easter eggs, and storyline are just amazing.
😀🤩
It's much more rewarding to have good honor rather than bad honor in my opinion since people may give you valuable things or information for helping them out, and it makes for a more meaningful story in my opinion too
Thanks for the tip 😀
you should play this for the channel! even if you don't like open world games the story by itself is a masterpiece
We do plan on playing it eventually on the channel 😀
Best game i have ever played! Can only suggest it to ANYONE
😎🤟 🇩🇰 🤗
it's the most realistic game you'll ever enjoy that is close to real life, I bought it when it was released and till this day I haven't finished it because there's lots to do apart from missions, it's considered one of the biggest games in history.
😀🤩
This game.... I don't know man if its a game or something more beautiful than i could explain, this game made me care about myself and think of the future that no matter how bad you are, you can still be a good man and no matter what bad things you did, you can still do good things, I love red dead redemption 2 soooo much its the best game i ever had
🥲☺️ Love it when entertainment like movies books and games can make us feel like this
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames true what a beautiful game
I literally can’t recommend this game enough, it’s an absolute mastercraft.
🤗🤗
I've played through this game more times than i care to explain somewhere around 35 times
😯🤩
It looks exactly this good the entire time you play the game. I don't know that more has been done with less, based on the available computing power of a console in it's era. Witcher 3 is up there, but I think this game is next level in that regard.
☺️🤩😀
The closest a games ever came to making me cry . And one of the few peace's of media that's almost made me cry for aslong as I can remember .
🥲🤗
Looks like it's really a Wild WEST Wednesday this week
👏 That was great! Bummer we didn’t think of that for an intro 😂🤗
Great reaction...please start playing this game ASAP even if you do not stream it...be prepared to experience one of the best protagonists in any game ever...grown men have been known to cry at the end...it is that good of a game...I wish I could erase my memory of the game just so I could play it all over again fresh.
This is one of those games where people have a deep bond to it and really is impressive a game can have that affect ☺️🤩
This game is a experience like nothing else out there, once in a life-time! You need to play it someday and finish it, it is so worth it, i know it's long, about 60 hours, but we don't get masterpieces like this everyday.
We can handle a longer game. Will just have to complete some of it off screen 🤗
the trailers were fun to watch the story mode of this game is a masterpiece
We bet 🤗
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Shakespearian tragedy wrapped inside a Clint Eastwood movie. That's my best description for it. Absolutely worth playing.
This is a game you must play before die haha
Yup. On our bucket gaming list 🤩
was hoping you would check out these trailers some real great ones. Amazing game the open world and story are top notch.
😎🤟🤩
I genuinely think this is the best piece of media ever made. I have never gotten so invested or emotional than I did when playing this game and the only problem I have with this game is that it’s put my expectations too high for gaming to where every game I play now never stacks up to it and it disappoints me. It’s truly a masterpiece
The story in this game is so good
😊😀
I spent most of my time during quarantine in 2020 in this game.... Good times, good times 🤣🤣🤣
Good way to spend quarantine 😝
Feels like a game we need to play versus react to. 😊🤩
One of the best stories in gaming history with some of the best characters ever
😎🤟🥳
Great game thank you for the reaction !
Our pleasure 🥳🥳
i can’t believe is almost 4 years this game came out
Time flies but this game will be timeless it seems ☺️
please play it! it's one of my favorite games of all time!!! you guys will definitely enjoy it.
We will at some point. It’s just a long journey to undergo as there is so much to do from what we’ve been told 🤩
One of the greatest stories ever in video game history
😎🤟🥳
I would marry this game if I could, it's so beautiful! The story is captivating and the controls are phenomenal! Oh and I got a recommendation here! For the other channel, Animator vs Animation 1 by Alan Becker. You might've heard of it.
Had not heard of it but will add it to our request list 😀
By far one of … if not the best game I’ve ever played . Not my favorite mind you but this game is actually flawless. I think this is a game you guys should play. Truly incredible
Liked the distinction between best game and favorite game 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I hope it wasn’t confusing ! A lot of people think just cause it’s a flawless game it has to automatically be your fav, but it’s like art. A beautiful piece but not your fav , maybe to others yes!
Lol this game is just breathtaking, so much emotion in it!
The only game that made me cry
🥲
You have to play the game. There's so much details in game. Even just walking onto the snowy plain, if you have a good horse a lot of people will commend it, if you're dirty, people will avoid you, will tell you to take a bath, if you light a fire, it will spread, etc.
A fully fleshed out world 🤩
This and the witcher 3 these games changed perspectives of open world game with great story
🤩🥳
I still play this on my ps5 I aint gonna lie the graphics still amazes me
🤩
This game has by far the best story of the games I have played
☺️🤩
This games definitely one of the best games I've ever played
☺️
"John made it...he is the only one...
I tried.."
Honestly one of the best games I've ever played
Replayed it 4 times now
*but I still need to find Gavin*
😎🤟
Best game ever! It's art in every form! Best story-, charactertelling I've ever experienced in a video game.
We look forward to the experience of playing it 😊
The best game to ever have been created❤️🔥 You gotta look up the first game as well, which this game is a prequel to (and with RDR1 taking place 11-12 years after this🥵
😎👍🙂
the thing i love about Rockstar Games is that they don't promise anything. In these gameplay trailers they say "this game is an attempt to..." and "We've tried". They source their own funding, and as a result they are required to make quality products to make a profit
