I was there in turn 1 watching Busch spin out in the esses and then watching the jumbo tron the rest of the lap until I could see the race off the final corner. So exciting and I will never forget it! I knew when I saw this race that this would probably be the most exciting finish I would ever see in person since finishes like these are rare and a wonderful gem when they happen.
@2:00:40 Dale Jr doing an incredible job of being a diplomat when he is obviously super mad about the track conditions. I've never seen someone take so much time to make sure they chose their words carefully.
1:51:02 Andy Petree: [on finding out what happened to Kyle Busch during the last lap from Dave Rogers' explanation during an interview with Vince Welch] Well, that explains a lot right there. That's probably oil all the way around the track, and that's why we couldn't figure out exactly what was going on.
You really forget, how over and done with, the race seemed when they took 2 to go. No one could've predicted those final 2 laps would go down the way they did
Shoutout to the 87's engine for giving us this incredible finish
87*
@@Jasper1815thanks, edited
It was the 47 of Bobby Labonte putting oil down on the track
@@christ84opher no it was Joe Nemecheck’s 87 you can see them passing his very slow car under green
@@christ84opher yeah Jerry Punch literally said oil of the 47.

Thank you to Bobby Labonte for one the greatest last laps ever!
Marcos Ambrose's masterclass at The Glen. He would've won again in 2014 but was dethroned by AJ Allmendinger
What a Fantastic Broadcast we need that back
What a race and what a season! It was so cool to see Marcos win again at the Glen.

We need Allen Bestwick back in the booth calling these races.

Allen Bestwick is the 🐐
"The 2 raced us the way he raced us" You mean to tell me you expected him to check up on the white flag when Kyle merged late?"
This race ruled
this isn't the last lap battle, this is the digeridual

One night I was standing next to Dale Jarrett in the infield camping watch a movie called Cady shack
Man, these road courses really beat up a car!
This is the year 10 cars wrecked in front of me
Marcos Ambrose win for the First Aussie driver at The Watkins Glen.
Nope.
Let me guess: the 55 blew up so early due to what was called a "TuRD" engine? lol
The 47 blew up.
@@alawalter918but the 55 blew up at the start of the race. The 47 blew up at the end
@@Monkey832 Ok?
