The reason you had to push down hard to get beetroots and lemons into the gears is because of the spherical shape, which doesn't slip into the gears as easily. It's not because the gears can't handle the beetroot or lemon tissues... Try cutting them into flatter shapes and see what happens. I think that'll make a difference.
Hi Paul, You should alternate the vegetables and not all cucumbers first, then all lemons, then all beets, etc... That is never a good idea with a slow juicer 😉
I have this juicer and it’s the best out there if you can afford it. FYI the only thing that clogged my Angel was turmeric root so I don’t juice that with your Angel . Remove the peel from citrus fruit other than limes, there’s wax there that clogs the gears. If you can’t afford an Angel buy a Chinese knock-off and work up to an Angel. Just juice daily
@@Goldminks my daily juice is carrot, cucumber, beetroot and I flavour that with ginger and limes. Ginger goes through easy as carrot lime and beetroot. Cucumber backs up a bit but not a problem. I always prime the juicer with a carrot first just to see it’s working fine, which it always is but I think it’s a good practice as 🥕 juice mixes with all other juices without flatulent bottom 😂 not to mention carrots are a cheap source of many vitamins and calcium. It’s a good day if you’ve drank 2 pints from your Angel
@@Goldminks don't try to wash one side clean then another side, I do it everyday: use the cleaning knife (enclosed) to clean the pulp outside, then use a stick to make all pulp inside, then use the long brush to clean the net, just out - in - out - in... , it will be effective then trying to complete one side clean than move to another.
Just the one that came with the juicer. I dont juice fruits in this, only leafy greens, roots and some lemons. The soft one is mainly for fruits. I always eat fruit whole, don't see a reason to juice them.
This angel juicer makes thicker juice than other juicers I've tried, but that is from extracting more soluble fiber into the juice, which is a good thing for health. I have not had any bits or pieces into the juice though, so that's good. Overall the juice is much higher quality.
3 models of Angel give the same result in juicing, they're different in auto reverse function and SUS (inox) type, 304 (food grade) or 316 (medical grade)
Just got one $2200 😭 but it’s the best one out there for household use. N it also extract about 20% more juice compared to other juicers. Soooo if u juice daily or your whole family juices a lot it’s worth it.

I cut the carrots in long slices. Additionally I give a 2nd pass to the residues, it extracts more juice leaving less and drier residue.
Might try cutting things like the beets into long strips instead of short chunks. Seems like the new juicer does better with that configuration.
Indeed! Thinner strips for everything. I will need to thinly slice my beets, lemons and probably carrots too.
Would be interesting to see the cleanup!
This is such a wonderful machine. It's even better than I expected. Amazing machine.
I have omega vertical, how do you enjoy it now?

Have you tried using ginger on the angel ? if yes how does it perform

Makes a lot of foam. Probably quite a bit of pulp remaining. Upside, is that it probably does wheatgrass well.
Hi Paul,Angel recently released the Angel 12000,the clamp ring is Gold.
Its on their Website, you have to translate their Website.
i can't find it
Can't you cook with the pulp?
Which housing are you using? Is it the one original come with the juicer, or the housing for soft items

Hi all. Can the different components go to dishwasher?
As they all are made from stainless steel, you should be able to put them in the dishwasher without problem
Was there any pulp or any bits of veg in the juice?

Make sure you don't get a chemical reaction with so many ingredients so just keep the fire extinguisher handy! 😅
I’m going with the pure juicer. 😅
8500 is new type?

Its so crazy even how healty you was, you still passed =/
He died? What happened?
@@ia6980 He went for a jog in the park outside his door, and he got an heart attack right before he got home. Sadly, he didnt make it.
He might have been ‘’eating’’ healthy. But he was anything but that.. He had heart issues going back to his teenage years.
For the cost of this machine, it should buy the produce, make the juice, and serve it to you on a tray!! 🤣🤣🤣
You shouldn't even need the plumger!!!
That sounds like a 20k juicer 🤣
@@heikization IKR? Look up the price on Google, but I think it's about $2500.
