    It's really a beautiful sight 2:51. The orange Torii Gate, the green on the trees and the blue sky. All well balanced and in harmony.

      When I came here for the first time I thought this Torii gate looked very symbolic and I thought the same thing as you did too.

    You see those two symbols on the doors in the right side 3:33? They are the same than the one we talk about recently, in a shrine you visited.

    • @VSV_Japan
      @VSV_Japan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You mean Kamon right. Yes I saw them too. Maybe this place has something to do with the last one I visited.

    Japanese version of Oxford University.

    Is Tokyo a city or like a region/state and Waseda is a city within that region/state?

    • @VSV_Japan
      @VSV_Japan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tokyo is actually more like a state. We call it "prefecture". And there are cities in Tokyo prefecture plus 23 wards. Mostly when people talk about Tokyo, it's quite likely they are talking about these 23 wards. Each of the wards is as big as a city like Shinjuku ward and/or Shibuya ward. And Waseda is a name of an area in Shinjuku ward.
