4-1 is the only way to go on the z1000. When combined with a power commander and proper Dyno tuning the bike becomes an animal. Almost makes me want to trade in my triumph. Maybe if I win the lottery

Love the new colour scheme and the exhaust system. A bit dear but like you said fella more horses less weight means I can drink an extra beer or two without having to worry about the weight I put on. In a perfect world i would get an ecu tune done, A good tuner can do it,Still runs pretty good without but may,in the long term, run it a bit lean but not really enough to do major damage..At least i have not seen one with any problems from fitting some pipes..Thanks for watching mate..Enjoy. :)
axelismydog some PAIR block off plates, a 18mm to 12mm O2 adapter in the 18mm O2 bung, and you shouldn’t get any popping even on deceleration but of course, PVC with ignition will stop all popping, but still need the PAIR blocks offs to get the max benefit. Dynajet has a map for the Akra exhaust for the 1000 to upload for free too.
@@AussieKawiman Mate, Singapore also have Z900 and Z1000 :P. However, Kawa SG is not so popular in SG, because Kawa agent in SG market is sucks big time. Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki are more popular here.

If you can afford it and have access to a good tune i would definitely do that. You spend a lot to get the full system would be crazy not to get the tune as well, if money is tight it will still improve the bike but there is more power and smoothness if you get the tune..thanks for watching mate..Enjoy.
Thanks for the video! Thinking about putting this 4-1 Akrapovic full system on my 2017 Z1000SX (Ninja 1000). In your video did you have the DB killer in or out and is it easy to take it out and put it back in? Also, couldn't get an idea of how obnoxious the full system might be for daily riding/commuting. I had a 2018 Z900 with Arrow headers and an Akrapovic can and it was pretty loud and I grew tired of it at times. Is this set up similar in loudness to a Z900 with the full system or worse/better? Thanks!
This one had the DB killer out, It seems pretty good and if the killer was in would be ok for me to use everyday. This system did not come with the insert but is easy to put in as it only has one Allan key bolt to hold it in.It is loud but with th eDB killer in should be ok, Hope you like it,thanks for watching mate...Enjoy :)
Have you tried comparing the sound of a full system vs stock headers decatted with the same exhaust? Does the header design with cross pipes make a big difference in sound? Because I think it makes the sound deeper.
@@AussieKawiman we just did this test yesterday, coincidentally we have 2 Z1000Rs and 1 has an arrow full exhaust and the other has decatted stock headers with akra exhaust. Started both with only headers and no exhaust and the difference is very obvious, stock sounds very bassy and the arrow has a higher pitch.
System is not legal as it is more than the 94db allowed, But sounds good and have never had a problem with the law? Yet! Just go to local bike shop,, Tell them i sent ya and they should look after you, Thanks for watching mate..

No you don't, It runs pretty well as there is a Exhaust Emission sensor in the pipe and it monitors it and leans it out or richens the mix. If you want performance a tune would be beneficial but not necessary.Thanks for watching mate...Enjoy
No mate, With the 4-2 system you actually get about 0.3kw more, If you can notice that you are doing well,so the 4-1 or 4-2 is about the same.Hardly noticeable to most..Thanks for watching mate..Enjoy

Here’s the irony mate we install aftermarket pipes on a our bikes to make it sound louder but I install suppressors of my guns to make it whisper
