I enjoy so much how DW is loving the heist. Dude straight up did a 3 way call with Blau and Nidas just to watch and provide commentary. Devs worked so long on this heist, they want it to progress. (Which is why baas basically nullified the X subpoenas, and held to them a very few.) The entire server wants this progression. The cops are totally biting at the bit, but even they understand that if it doesn't progress to the appropriate point it's kinda effed.
I agree with the cops' part of your statement, but they still have to roleplay their character appropriately. For example, in D&D, it's one thing for the GM to adjust the scenario and scale down the difficulties by providing hints or allowing simpler skill checks, but the players themselves should be staying true to their characters. So, if someone was intentionally disrupting the power in the city non-stop for half a day, in response, law enforcement definitely should investigate and apply the appropriate amount of pressure to the perpetrators, if only for the sake of the civs. This would also lead to more varied plans. Like, by deploying air 1 to scout the area near the power plant the past few days, the heist team were forced to do it by car or on foot instead, which also allowed them to discover undercover cops in the area. To be honest, I do look forward to seeing more unexpected incidents like these, no matter how big the consequences end up becoming, just as long as they remain in-game instead of affecting irl friendships/relationships.

Tony is the best rp character in my opinion. He knows when to rage, he knows how to come back from the rage and make it funny and into an amazing rp scenario. Even when he is stuck in a long situation he knows how to interact with chat and make it rp. This is talent. Mad respect to him for it. Mad respect for the dev for being an amazing and playing an amazing roll in this and giving me content and rp.

This heist is both super good and super bad. It brings new and different content, and this moment for example is one of the awesome highlights. But it's also just pure guesswork to figure it out so they are literally brute forcing every possible scenario they can come up with right now.. :/
