I like to combined Let's play and tutorials in to the same video. I try to show how to play the game and build a story along with it. This series will be a let's play online. Tip 1 don't build the shed its worthless, but it will cost you 120k in wood and cement lol I learned the Hardway 😩 Tip 2 you can make a 1x1 rice paddy foaled Flud it and you have free water on the farm 😉

I'm really thrilled with the idea of seeing every crop being used on the same series (is def something I'd do if playing it myself). So please try to do it, even if it takes to use smaller fields to actually get it, I'd love to see it.

@FarmingSimSWU i was wondering if you had any pointers on what to start a new farm out on doing? My go-to for mobile was always beans, but lately, I've been ranching. So I was just curious what a pros opinion would be
Seems to be if you have to drive in the field when cultivating, seems that if you would just leave the cultivator down, you would not have any deformation behind you...only happened when you raised the cultivator so definitely an easy work around to mitigate the deformation from happening
@FarmingSimSWU weird, you would think it would stay there...Definitely something to mention to GIANTS with their support team for sure. So the deformation went away but you still get hit on your yield because the initial deformation happened......crazy 😆
IRL you only do the headlands first when harvesting. When cultivating you use the headlands to turn around and then do them last so it fixes all your tracks. If done right you pull off the field cleanly leaving no tracks. I think that's what they are trying to simulate with adding the tracks.
I want a regenerative approach to a game like this. I want to learn how to farm like Joel Salatin! I also want to be able compost, and add bio char as a soil amendment.

Since FS22 sold trees for a little over a 1000 on hard economy, while this barely scratched 600 for an entire tree... I don't like where this is heading tbh, hope they fix the game in the coming months and more mods come out.. until then i'll stick to the thing i know best, which is FS22

The AI is in kph , if you change your mph to kph when you set your cruse control to the speed of the vehicle IE, your combine you shud find you can keep pace 🧦 🧦
In that first field with the auto steering, when i first started i had the angle rows, but at the other end i changed it to one headland and the angles changed to up and down rows. So the rows may vary.

My first impression of fs25 is the maps feel more alive, more lived in, The AI is much MORE improved. I like the ground deformation and the weather effects, The bad, the flashing is annoying, I am glad that its not just me, the lack of choices in the base game is disappointing, and honestly I was spoiled with 240GB of mods for FS22, I expected more from the base game though I LIKE vintage equipment like we used when I was young on our now long into history family farm, I can recreate that in FS22. Not in FS25, at this time. I was expecting more Maps . These are issue that will be solved in time. I also tended to use terrafarm and log, in my games, while it is in game, its limited. There are some glaring gaps in equipment choices. Also having contracts time out with huge penalties at midnight continues with this game, thats annoying, it should be a hour or days in the month limit instead of a arbitrary Cinderella time limit. We will see how it developes. But right now its limited on choices.

For giggles, take a look at the John Deere 9R 440. Should be a floating tractor you could aim for.

@@That_Guy_Grizz so. You’ll see in episode 2 that the deformation seemed to go away over night. I’m super disappointed in that.

There is a small solar panel on one of the small sheds. That could be what is bringing in money every hour.

I love been digging into this and my conclusion is that it’s a TH-cam issue. After EP4 which isn’t out yet, the graphics should be much better.
You need to get soe "skinny tires" since your so concerned with destroying the ground. It significantly reduces(if not completely) in FS 25

I feel like I remember the same issue in 22 but can't remember the fix.
@FarmingSimSWU I think they had to do an update bc everything flickered especially when the seasons changed and leaves changed.
I also have a ton of ghost flares all over the place. Like annoying blurry falling stars everywhere
