Hey Daphne, Happy Monday! Such a simple fix that made such a big impact. I love the makeover. Our wide tulips came back again this year. I love beautiful flowers, but I always wanted a garden that feeds my home. So I'm dabbling in some veggie as well, and so far it's going well. It's still extremely cold here. Some parts are still experiencing snow, heavy snow! So idk when I'll be able to get outside to do anything. Well done mama! ☺️💐💐💐

Hello fron Iowa Daphne! 🌼😃The pathway is so cool! This year I am working on putting cardboard & mulch on the north side of my house for weed control so I can plant it up next year, finishing removing the block from the front of the house that was never installed properly, & finishing removing the rock from the front of the house to put back at the area around my garage, and putting mulch down. I might end up hiring some help with the rock, as it took quite a bit of work last year to get it moved by myself!
Hello Wendi, thank you so much. You have done cool projects. I love sheet mulching. We did it in our backyard to create our side beds. It is nice to get help with the heavier things. Don’t work too hard. 🙏🏾

I had new garden bed last year, planning to plant Lime Light hydrangea and hardy hibiscus. I already planted white dogwood and crape Myrtle, some roses last year.

I love how you have both mulch and stone in your borders. How did that come about and is there a reason for it besides the esthetic? Thanks.
Hello Sue, thank you so much. I added the stones to the edge last spring to stop the mulch from washing out on the pathway. I too love how they look together, it was a win win. Originally the former owner had hostas on both sides on the pathway and the hostas held the wash out back but when I removed them from one side I needed to figure it out. 😂 Are you thinking of adding some stones too?
