It's amazing to see Lanfear open the waygate so easily with barely a twist of her hands, while even Moiraine has to make a more elaborate gesture to perform that magic.
It's a throwback to what Child Valda said to Egwene that Aes Sedai use their hands as a crutch. When Alana shows Egwene how to purify the water, she channels from left to right hand, when Egwene does it she doesn't use her hands. That's a nice touch of the show that I'm not sure if it was in the book. You don't need this whole fan dance to channel, thats what makes the current Aes Sedai weaker, or part of it anyway. Their knowledge is so limited in comparison.
I have broken my heart over and over, watching this scene. I refuse to believe it. The episode is titled Daes Da’amar and that is the great game. I think Moiraine and Siuan made a plan together, to get Rand to trust Moiraine even further while getting the Aes Sedai to keep trusting Siuan AND to throw Lanfear off that they are together. The forsaken can’t know Moiraine’s weakness is Siuan or that they are connected so deeply, so they orchestrated this. At least in large part. That’s my theory. Now let’s just wait two years. 😂❤🎉
@@booo3993 Josh (Rand) posted on his Instagram they're almost done filming S3, but post-production and any re-shoots will take it into 2025 most likely.

She's not a lesbian. Moraine likes men, her relationship with Siaun is complicated.
At the very least she's queer, we see her romance with Siaun
