u see the school system is designed to down grade us and limit our potential ...that is why I always hated school even though I had good grades ...the school system either need to change or be abolish

It took me almost 2 hours to watch this 47 minute video. Within the first 10 minutes i was crying...stopped and cried 5 more minutes in...took notes... hit the back button to listen again and again before moving forward to finally come to the end and stop again with the grandmother story which made me cry harder tears. It’s Lisa’s story but it’s mine too. We are all connected in some way or another. Bless you Lisa.

I was laughing at first , then I was crying connecting the stories with my life... I remembered when I was begging food to my neighbors to survive the winter in Rome Italy, where I was a working student and barely made ends meet my dad was dead and my mother was in another country and my sister was also making ends meet for our rent....then at the end I was so inspired that my story can change other people’s lives .. thanks Lisa 😭🙏🙏😃👍

Wow, this woman is INCREDIBLE! She is sooooooo good! Lisa is AMAZING! She is definitely making me cry and also inspiring me to move past my fears of starting my TH-cam channel to educate people about sustainability and environment. Her story about her grandmother was so beautiful! What a wonderful woman and influence in her life. What a gift. I'm going to think of being a legacy too, on the shoulders of my ancestors. So many people think "tree hugger" or "environmentalist" is a derogatory term so I have kept my light hidden for all these years. But she is giving me the courage to move forward into the light anyway and trust that good things will happen as they are meant to happen. As she said, don't expect others to understand because it is MINE to birth.

Wow. I needed this video. I initially wasn't going to watch but I thought I see what you were talking about. After listening for a few minutes, I got the chills. This is me. I got emotional watching. I've held myself back because of fear. I was afraid of not being good enough. I was afraid of not being the best. I was afraid of failing. I was afraid of not knowing what to do. I was afraid of doing stuff by myself. I want all that to change. I have a purpose. I want to own my own businesses which I'm currently working on. It's not easy. Look at what everyone else is doing and I get depressed because I feel that what I do is nothing compared to what everyone else is doing. I have a feeling of wanting to give up but I know I CANT because that's when I will fail. I dont want to fail. I want to succeed. I want to travel. I want to build my own house. I want so much. I just never know where to start. Thank you for the video. You inspired me. I never was the person to put my all in something. As long as I pass, that was good enough. I'm working on bettering myself.

Lisa has me in tears. Because my Mom was a day worker too. Mom cleaned hotels, motels, private homes and apartments. She and my Dad were never given anything they worked hard their entire life and if they had 5.00 to put into their savings account they did. They sacrificed so we cold move into a better neighborhood. That's why I get madder than hell at my daughter when she disrespect me. I've been sacrificing for her for 31 years now. How dare she disrespect me! When she disrespects me, she is disrespecting all my ancestors, the shoulders upon which she stands. Maybe because she's 31 and doesn't have a child, she doesn't get it. Maybe she never will. But the disrespect is going to stop.

Maybe there is pain within that disrespect...something you may be unaware of...if you ask the right questions humble ego maybe she will tell you...my mom considered me disrespectful but it's because she never listened to me....she never HEARD me, so I didnt tell her my true pain until I went to therapy, even though I'm sure I was wrong I felt like she didnt truly love me no matter how much she physically sacraficed and gave to me, in my mind my love was not for purchase...sometimes when we grow up not having anything we try to physically provide for our kids and think that's enough, they need our emotional self...I'm 31 btw with a child so I understand the fine line of motherhood...I do hope you and your daughter work things out...
