  • I got the crazy idea to just hop over to Paris for the day. As an American, iving in London, the accessibility of travel is still wild to me so I take advantage of it every chance I get. It occured to me that the travel time to Paris is about the same as the commute I make once a month to Bristol for work, so I thought "why not go to France for the day?"
I got in around noon and my Eurostar train left around 8PM, so in total, I had 8 hours in Paris (but really more like 6 hours of actual exploration). Leave a comment and let me know if you'd make this trip for the day.

Great video I’m good information. Thank you for sharing. I do have a question though from London to Paris is there a few stations in Paris the we can arrive? Or there’s only one main station?

Pity about the delay on the return. You might be able to claim delay compensation from Eurostar. The train manager ought to have made an announcement (re any delay compensation) during the journey.

@@emily_meadows Really stingy of Eurostar. There's a difference between UK rail (which is far more generous) and Eurostar which is international and has no UK ownership (SNCF is the major shareholder). LNER (UK's flagship operator) refunds 100% the cost of a ticket sector were you to be delayed 60-119 mins. But anyway your trip was a success overall.

So for one day you were literally "Emily in Paris." Excellent Vlog all the way through. It was just too short.
