Roskilde is worth a visit. It's a short train ride from the city. It's the place where all the Danish King's and Queens are buried. They also discovered a mass graveyard of viking boats in the estuary, which are now kept in a museum in the town.

When we visited we ate nearly every night at one of the restaurants in Nyhavn - the ambiance was great.....

Hipster coffee tends to be a light to medium roast so it’s super fruity/acidic, ask for a dark roast (if they have any) and it’ll be a ton closer to classic coffee!

Emely, thank you for your clip. I hope you had a good time. Queen Margrethe II actually wrote to Tolkien himself and included her drawings. She had read the books and was so fascinated by this wonderful work. She did not conceal who she was at all in her correspondence with Tolkien. However she did not trust herself enough to publish anything, så she used the pseudonym, Ingahild Grathmer. Tolkien was so happy for her drawings so he answered thank you, saying that her visions of his world was so close to his own visions..
Years later a version of the three books were published, with the queen's drawings. You can find theses rare publications if you are lucky.
All the best from Copenhagen Denmark.
    Anders

Christmas markets are a Danish thing, but the last 10 years we seem to have out sourced the markets to German, Polish and Dutch professional marketers. Traditionally Christmas markets consist of amateurs selling cakes and cookies, and Christmas decorations and other Christmas themed craft work

originally though it is from Germany but correct there is not a lot of danish items on the markets we have now and a lot of things not even Christmas stuff

Hi! I saw you went on a solotrip to Copenhagen as well as Stockholm! Which one did you prefer? I'm doubting between these two :))

I personally preferred Stockholm, but loved them both. I just found Stockholm prettier and loved being there when the leaves were changing.

The kings name was not Harald B, but actually Harald Blåtand (Bluetooth) born in the year 911, and the Bluetooth symbol is his actual rune H and B initials merged together.

That's exactly what she said. She didn't want to butcher "Blåtand" so that's why she didn't elaborate.
