I liked it a lot, it was a special and varied video - from the mysterious atmosphere of Hazrati Imam Complex at night, to the Shark Train ride (a very pleasant surprise) and your accommodation in Samarkand (even exotic). And everything in your pleasant style, I often smiled widely.
And needless to say, I can't wait to see what's next.😊

What a mood for adventure this video gave me! The sunset footage was awesome! A great highlight was also the 3 seated train compartment! So cute and luxurious with the TV, free tee and the supply drawer!
And the hotel room with ethnic motifs has definitely style. I can't wait to see more from Samarkand!🚄🚃🚃🚃

The Sharq is definitely something for train lovers. It's very different from other trains and it has style. Such an experience! More videos from Samarkand soon 🎉

Visit Shahrisabz as well. It is only 2 hour driving hours and an hour in high speed train from Samarqand

Love the train review. Of course, you were not the customer who left the wonderful aroma in the restroom. Wow that was a bumpy train. Pearl is thinking this is a cute room and likes it.

Thank you so much! The train was indeed bumpy, but an unforgettable experience nevertheless. And that room in Samarkand was amazing, I would love to come back 😊

The train is much better equipped than in Hungary. 😅 And the hotel room is... amazingly beautiful. It's really nice that it's not standard in decoration and use of materials, but decorated according to the local culture. ☺️

I totally agree! One of the best accommodations I've had 😊 The train wasn't the comfiest, but surely packed with wanderlust, if I may put it this way. New train rides coming soon 🤭🚂

I've purchased a Sharq ticket for 21 April 2024 from Bukhara to Samarkand on Uzbekistan railway app. The ticket has been successfully paid by card, but I didn't receive any ticket. It's hard to contact the customer service.

    • @WhereDoWeTravelNow

I booked my tickets on the website and I received them via email. Maybe if you book on the app the tickets remain saved there. This is how it happens on the Öbb app (the Austrian railway company). If you book on the app, the ticket is saved there and you can show the conductor the QR code, but don't get an email to download the pdf and print the ticket on an A4 size page. You could check that..

I suppose you chose your preferred seat and everything. Check if that seat is still available. This way you can (kind of) confirm that at least your transaction was indeed successful. Also, you still have like 35 days until then. I'm sure it's plenty of time for customer support to figure this out. It's not like tomorrow, you know.. Please write another comment when you have updates. Good luck, mate!

@@WhereDoWeTravelNow Thanks. I hope the customer service can help to solve this problem soon. I didn't receive the ticket on the app and my e-mail either. Greets from 🇮🇩

hello sir. i plan to visit Uz for the next 2 weeks. So from Tashkent to Bukhara i want to book the Sharq train but only the night train is left. If I arrive at Bukhara station after midnight, is it allowed for tourists to overnight at the train station?

Hi. Appreciate if you could please provide information as below.
At whats the name of train station in Tashkent where we will get train to go to Samarkand? how to get train ticket?
Whats the name of train station at Samarkand? how far is downtown from train station?

There's only one main train station in both Tashkent and Samarkand. Go to the Uzbekistan Railways website (railway .uz) and book there. It's very modern, you can even choose the exact seat or berth. Super nice! From the train station better take a taxi in Samarkand, as it's rather far. Negotiate the price before.
