You forgot to give Seat cover a sticker for being on the hook 😂
or the sno cat
Hers goes on the door 😂
I was th8nking this EXACT THANG😂
Climbing into her wrecker looked a bit painful. I hope Mara continues to recover, quickly.
did she wreck the wrrecker ???😮
@@tracykooken2606 She's been having back issues this year.
It's explained more in previous videos.
So glad Challenger lifts has such an awesome lift for you to work much easier on your awesome projects!!! I wish I could afford to buy something from them to thank them for supporting your channel. You have given your time and money helping others out for so many years giving all of us years of entertainment.
Great to see Mara out and about and even helping a bit. The wrecker sounded really good and quiet. Great job on getting the snow cat off.
I'd have pulled the spark plugs, then you're not fighting the compression with the starter, just the rolling resistance
Your skills and determination always amaze me. Glad you got the Cat where you wanted it.
I was born and raised in Medford Oregon where that snowcat was made. Been by the plant my whole life, still in business today. There an amazing machine. I’ve seen a few swapped to diesel engines there almost unstoppable in snow.
Eric you and Mara are our number 1 TH-cam channel....Mara's truck is going to be awesome when you get it finished God bless and stay safe
Thanks 👍
It was nice to meet you at C4C and chat about the wrecker. Yeah, this is a crazy video.
Good to see Seat Cover helping out a little. Take care Missy 🙏❤️😎🤙🛻💨
Very smart... maybe end up having to replace the battery and starter but sometimes we do what we gotta do to get the job done. Well done sir!
Oh man so far you got one sweet cat can't wait to see you out in the woods enjoying it!
That CHALLENGER lift looks great in your shop. You deserve it!
Am I alone in wondering why you didn't just use the 'drive through shop' and winch the snocat off the trailer with the wrecker?
Aside from that, well done for getting it in there.
It will be great to see Seatcove back out on the trail with you Eric. I hope she's healing up well......
Cool, Sno Cat! Will be a nice addition to your winter recovery fleet. Creative way to get it off the trailer. Just came through Northern Wisconsin camping. Stayed in a camp near Waupaca. Not too far away...keep Wheelin'!!
Looking forward to the sno-cat build all the way from Leadville Colorado... We got a few of those Tucker's running around our town
Dude I love how you put metal on the inside walls and ceiling of your shop. 👍👍
You definitely have the coolest recovery snow cat on YT now
Nothing like a 2 hour snowcat unload! Lol.... Love how the new shop is filling up with cool projects 👍🇺🇲
Love hugs and prayers for mara i hope your feeling better !!
I truly care about you and i hurt a little too when your not well !!
Eric you need to install floor anchor points, makes moving things like this much easier with a winch. As always a great learning video!
Can't wait to see how the snow cat progresses
Great idea using the starter like that. I would have been afraid I'd burn out, even with giving it a moment to cool down. Actually, with my luck, I'm still convinced I would burn it out if I tried it. 😅
Starters are easy to come by and or rebuild
I loved every bit of this video. Love seeing how yall do things. I could have watched a straight hour of this. 13:28 Really good shot of the Snow-Cat here with the wrecker in the background.
What a wonderful couple! We love watching you both work together.
I can’t wait to see if she covers new truck running and that she knows that you guys will be invincible
The snow cat starter was the star of this episode. Your wrecker is a beast dude.
Need D-rings anchors in your floor.
That Yankum rope held on. I didn't think it will make it. Glad it did.
Removing the spark plugs would have made a ton of diff. By relieving the compression off the starter ☝️‼️
BSF Recovery Team, Martas truck is on the lift. Yes Thank God. Get her Gone... God Bless
You may not be the first TH-camr with a tracked, off-road recovery vehicle Eric, but I reckon you're the first with a plug-in hybrid!
Casey LaDelle has a Tucker, too.
@@chaddesantis4191 I think he sold it. Like everything else he has bought.
Poor Mara needs a stepstool to get in her truck!
Glad to see that it looks like the recuperation is going well.
Oh the adventures you create, thumbs up, always enjoy your day to day activities
Anxiously awaiting the Gladiator build!!!
That was quite the job getting that snow cat off of the trailer. Looks like you got it handles pretty darn good!!
I see ur sub count keep steadily going up!
Thats awesome!
Glad to see it finally happening. Well deserved.
That poor ol’ starter was going “what did I do? It ain’t my fault the durned old carburetor is lazy”😂😂
The drive through bay is somethin I hadn’t considered planning my shop, I’ll be doin it for sure though!
Glad you got it in, you worked harder on that than most tow jobs!
Eric I have seen someone get that creative on unloading a unique snowcat that won't run or steer.
The Wrecker is definitely powerful didn't seem to have a problem at all moving it.
Have you guys thought about getting a tilt trailer? I am curious because it definitely would have made that unloading easier if you could have tilted the bed up and used gravity to roll backwards and save on the starter.
I am glad to see Seat Cover is doing better and is involved more in the videos
good job! keep the clips coming
15:36 Hooray for the voice of optimism.
Can't wait to see this zooming around MN this winter!!!! 😂
So Wise , Thank You .
Best toy yet!👍🏼 Very cool
I saw another shop that had recessed D-rings mounted in their floor. Possibly an easier way to get the job done?
Im no expert mechanic but you dont need the exact replacement carb for that engine. Definitely speak to an expert but I believe you can just order a brawler brand carb (made by Holley) and have it shipped out quick. Now yes its a little more expensive then the one you found but many people have reported that out of the box they work great on most engines. And beyond that they offer tuning and parts support that a factory replacement just cant offer. The best part though is the Holley support team appears to always be on point supporting small youtube channels.
I noticed Mara too. Hopefully, here today, gone tomorrow.
Just before going down the ramps, I wished I could pause for a half-hour or so to give the starter a rest.
Old snowmobile track or old skid tracks work great for saving cement from steel tracks
That’s a lot of cranking hope the starter holds up
now it's in the lift bay you have to start working on it yeah for seat cover 😊
Can’t wait to see that snow cat on a recovery
My first thought is to rig a lawnmower carb to get the thing off the trailer. My second thought is to back it to new lift in the shop and pick it off... I'm paused at 1:40, so now I will see what you did...
That’s smart you have a drive thru shop
Can't wait for snow cat content!!!!!!
maybe put in quick connect hydraulic ports and an anderson plug. Ust that to plug an Electric hydraulic pump plumbed into the system to use when engine dies yet you need steering? Might can find a used one. It's not like you will use it super often.
Doggie barkin & running after ya... wanting to know where ur going with momma's truck
Lol
I would’ve thought that lift in the shop would’ve got that right off the trailer… I like the new truck can’t wait for u to build it…
Great video and give Matt or Roy a call the might have a carburetor
This will be a cool build
@CaseyLaDelle is going to be jealous! He has a thing for these Tucker snow machines.
Nice sure put the recovery rope in a positive stretch
Maybe some max ramps for the gooseneck are in order
I see a set of 'Chain-steps' getting added to Mara's truck soon.Is there a bad Tie-rod end on on the left side of the tow truck? It looks wonky on bumps.(Not a critique, just a what's worn, before it breaks question.I saw it floppy in the trails video too).Hope the carb arrives before winter ;)
Clearly Murphy was an optimist. Eric proves that he is smarter that a busted snow cat. Good job.
Yeah, but so is yeast!
Grt some grain leg belting for shop floor
You should put an LS in it like the one from Wyatt's too 👍
Good job!
I have some of those 2brl Carbs and carb parts...
Good to see seatcover can climb onto the jeep now
That starter deserves to be mounted above the fireplace! that's a lot of work for that old starter hahaha
Good job 😊
Which model pickup does seat cover have? box resembles the m715 but the cab is more along the J series
A little luck, ingenuity gets things done. Love it.
You could fry your starter doing that! You should use a winch or your wrecker or a come a long!
That poor starter! What a champ! LOL!
Eric, you, Matt, Paul, Robby and Rory are masters at accomplishing the impossible. The motto could be, "I got this."
Yeah, but if you call Paul, you're gonna need Robby too...
@@chaddesantis4191 Not always.
@@loosemoose9799 maybe not always but the odds are definitely better
@@chaddesantis4191 They are not ashamed to call for help to do a recovery or get help to get themselves out of a jam. Help shows up, the recovery done, then they have good matured fun ribbing each other.
@@loosemoose9799 they're a great bunch of guys, no doubt. Paul's just one of those guys who is a little hard on machinery if ya catch my drift. He'd probably tell you the same thing. Hence the reason you need the guy with the body shop when you call the guy who's right foot is still well tuned for demolition derby.
so that's truck number 1 now 😊
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
I had a old Nissan with the starter override button I used it to crawl up a off ramp once after pushing for a 1/2 mile (maybe 100 ft seemed farther lol) I was never so happy to see a gas station on my side of the road.
What about bolting on the same set up as you did with the wreaker. Holley injection!
That rope sure stretched, that was amazing all on its own.
That is one good Starter. It would have been nice to know you could have pulled the Cat off the trailer without putting all the wear and tear on it and the Batteries. But, now we know --------
The wrecker pulls the snow kitty about 4X as quick as the starter does. I wonder if, after you get a working carb, you could bump start the snow cat with the wrecker?
I'm kinda surprised you didn't try lifting it off with the wrecker or at least having the charger on from the start.
I'm guessing there's a lot of worn pins and bushing in the snow cat, given how poorly it's tracking.
😏👍that was usin tha ole noggin 😏. Nicely done y'all 🎉👏👍👍. When you get that beauty tip top, i bet it's gonna be so much fun 😉. Thx for tha share .... ☕🐢
I'm mystified that the carburetor couldn't be rebuilt to a state that would at least let you drive the snow cat off the trailer. I've seen engines run with someone dribbling gas directly into the intake manifold with no carb at all.
gonna need to order a starter next lol
That was a brutal unloading. Hopefully the starter isn't worn out too much.
yeah I was thinking a bucket of water on the hood.... and drop water on the starter to help it cool
@@coachgeo No, you don't want the thermal shock. That can ruin them.
You didn’t give her a sticker she was on the hook hahaha 🤣
Glad you got it down and inside. I have moved quite a few vehicles out of the way on the starter. Thank goodness for a manual transmission those times.
Hello, maybe you will like to consider a motor craft carburetor from a Ford 302 engine with and adapter, it will make your life easier, good luck
@10:58... Mara went and got all "Girlyfied" with some NAILS! Whew! You sure stretched that Yankum Rope, when you pulled the Sno-Cat!
Where are we going to have to see how well the snowmobile does in wrecker games in Utah next year
🤣
That was a challenge
Don't forget to put on seat cover windows the I was on the hook sticker
Time for some dollies for the snow cat.
Might be a dumb idea but since you have a bobcat why not pull the tracks and bolt on a plane set of roller wheels it looks like a standard hub and wheel bolt pattern
