Hay buddy I having problem pairing my Galaxy s8 Bluetooth with my headset. Customer service is no help was wondering if you know any tips on why it won't take the pin number. And when I do it through the app it just goes to WiFi set up.
Pairing his Galaxy S8 Bluetooth "what?" to his headset? Nothing requires a pin. When you connect the app on your phone to the headset its over WiFi and they search for each other without a pin needed. This is a month old post and they never replied so I assume they sorted it.
so i just got an Oculus Go and it is absolutely amazing. The visuals of the thing blow everything else on the market out of the water (at least compared to my WMR headset). Amazing lenses.
Wander is a must buy app. It's amazing being able to visit so many places from the comfort of your couch. It having access to street view is it's killer feature. Some of my favorites that didn't make your list are ocean rift, groovr and smash hit.

Some of the TH-cam stuff is so blurry it brings you right out of the experience. Netflix is good but I wouldn't say 720 though. At best my internet speed is 10 - 30 mbps. At worst 3 - 5. Cheers.

it depends on your device and the content. If the content is really flashy and fast paced, it'll probably be a bad quality. if the content isn't flashy and isn't fast paced, probably a good quality. but of course it also depends on how good your device is. if it's a good device, good quality. if it's a bad device, bad quality. (most likely)
Thank you Remarcus, you've been a massive influence for me in the first instance on deciding whether or not to even buy the Go in the first place, to what apps/games to buy once I had a Go. Have a very merry Christmas mate and a great new year. I shall be taking my Go into hospital on the 27th of December as my partner will be giving birth! I will definitely be needing those chill out apps like Nature treks VR to escape the ward when Necessary.
Hey man love your videos! I watched most of them before I ordered mine hopefully it’s here soon. I think it would be interesting to see a video of things you can and can’t do while traveling on the plane,bus,train etc... (apps,games,experiences and all that) I can’t speak for everyone but I defiantly ordered mine for both home entertainment and traveling! Keep it up man great videos 👌🏻
Thanks for watching. There are obvious things which need Internet connection to work, but it's easy to test once you get one. Turn off your WiFi and see what works. I'll add it to my list of things to cover but there are so many apps and experiences it might be hard to cover it all. 😉
Hardly use Big Screen personally. It's got its uses but it's not something I use as often as these. Plus Big Screen has had some updates since this video, it's better now but maybe not in my top 10 yet still.

Depends on the video you're watching but remember it's about a 720p picture you're seeing as you likely have some none video bits on the side. I think they look decent, not 4k, but fine.

For my videos it's going to my PC to record the highest quality. But I regularly use it plugged it into the wall, but I recommend Anker power banks if you want a big one or I've done some videos on accessories and a small Varta one is useful as it can be mounted to the headset.
It depends what you're playing, I've only ever had the issue while streaming and playing Wander. Even then I just waited 5mins and was back in the game. It won't hurt the device as that warning is there to stop that happening. I do know that if your device is already fully charged before you start, and it's plugged in, it gets less hot. But there are a lot of variables, but I wouldn't worry about it. 😉

Thanks mate. For Mac you'll need the Android File Transfer program to be able to do it. Make sure you accept the connection in your headset www.android.com/filetransfer/
Could be many reasons. Have you downloaded the Henry app and watched that? Does that look bad? If it looks good then it's the content being poor but if it looks bad as well then you Go maybe faulty?
I was in two minds to get the OG or PSVR, but I really want to enjoy some arcade shooters like Operation Warcade, so I think PSVR might have to be the one for me, until the Quest is released then I'll perhaps get that. I really like the reviews and info on the OG though, and it seems great for media and like me where space isn't too much. I'm not 100% decided though... So I might get the OG and just see what games can play on that and then hope that the Quest will support Operation Warcade 👍
If it's PSVR only then no, it won't work on the Go. You can half play PCVR games on the Go but it's hit and miss (use a program called ALVR). If you have a PS4 already and don't mind wires, PSVR is the better VR gaming experience. The Go is the perfect media VR experience without the wires or need for a PC/console etc.
Yes much different. Big Screen is ony really good for watching content from a PC with friends. Virtual Desktop allows you to wirelessly control your PC from anywhere with an Internet connection (no multiplayer).
I'll change it again. How to connect the SD card, pendrive to oculus it to lose pictures and video. I have a Samsung Gear 360 camera. I HAVE NO INTERNET.

Even if it did have an sd card slot, the photos and video from the Samsung 360 camera need to be stitched together first. You need a phone or PC for that.
Just the recording, the Go isn't the easiest thing to record from so it's not perfect. The game itself is very smooth, I have other videos on it if you want to see more. 😉👍

Great to hear. Download the Oculus Go App in advance and prepurchase any apps which take your fancy. Save you a bit of time on the day. Make sure you use the same account (or Facebook account). Browse the free content grab the top 10 or more items and just try everything. There is so much to check out you'll be kept busy for sure. 👍
Hope you and Mrs. ReMarcus have a great Christmas. I would add the TH-cam app with VR180 and NextVR if you like VR movies. If you can do ALVR, Skyrim and flying in XPlane 11 though it is graphically glitchy.
Many thanks the virtual desktop app finaly what i wanted, some latency over Phone but that it works is great. Tried ps4 Remote on pc trough Phone network, just shuts down due to a "dip" in trafic. Could use it trough the computer = a bit more options to make it decent. I hope so atleast 😏
Burn! I just bought Pigasus because of your review, and the very first video I threw at it, Gravity 3D, failed to play audio. The same movie plays fine in Skybox. Anybody know how to do refunds in the Oculus store?
Have you tried the audio options? I've not had any issues. You can go into your purchase history on your mobile phone app to initiate a refund. You have to do it quick though. Hope you get your money back. 👍

Review some of the roller coasters, most people I think would want to see a whole video on them. It's just a suggestion, but I would love to see some of your favorites or just ones you found. 😁
My pet peeve are the low effort roller-coasters that are on the Go, too many of them. I've reviewed some decent ones back when I first started covering it. Enjoy your headset. 👍

Hey, I was just wondering, is the quality of these experiences shown in this video, the same as how it looks in the actual headset? just wondering because it seems like the quality isn’t too great to me.
Review was great but you gave me motion sickness from your jerky movements and always moving head which didn't let me see the in game play well.AKA STOP MOVING YOUR HEAD AROUND WHILE SHOWING PEOPLE IN GAME PLAY.
The virtual desktop is a disaster for me. The most power I get is 6.0mps. That’s it. Standing in front of my PC. I can’t watch videos, games etc. $9.99 was wasted.

It uses Google maps which is all mono so you won't find any 3D in Wander, apart from the menu an other players avatars that is.

Depends on the content. Download from the Store, Henry and Crow. And a great quality paid experience is Cirque du soleil.

I had mine plugged into a portable charger but it got pretty hot. It gave me a warning. Has it happen to you as well?

I just got mine but video play back is bad. Is there a setting of an I doing something wrong?
What do you mean bad? What are you trying to play?
Playing videos from TH-cam vr. And other apps with videos and the picture is terrible. Played the same video on my Xbox and they are fine.

It can play the 5.7k footage from my Vuze XR so I would guess yes. Try it in the free version first. 👍

does the ocolus go require some sort of phone? if not, I will beg my parents to let me buy one.
It needs one to set it up. Once it's done you don't really need it again but it does help to have the app on your phone for a few other things.

AltspaceVR is the closet native app to that. Its available on other platforms as well so it has a lot of users.

You can't. With no phone, Internet or PC you have a camera you can't really use.

Hey Marcus, thanks for the tutorials, it helped me learn tons about it. I now have got myself an Oculus GO. Of course I have to give some suggestions though. Review some of the roller coasters, most people I think would want to see a whole video on them. It's just a suggestion, but I would love to see some of your favorites or just ones you found. 😁
My pet peeve are the low effort roller-coasters that are on the Go, too many of them. I've reviewed some decent ones back when I first started covering it. Enjoy your headset. 👍

Thanks to you...I got an Oculus Go. Love it...My avatar is a picture of my left eye. Its called 'Coloboma'....Unfortunate that my eyes make it break the experience of VR (some of the time).Not the Oculus Go's fault. You sold me on VR...Thank You so much.

You need ALVR to actually play the VR games in VR. Virtual Desktop is great for playing 2D games though, works great.

Hey, I was just wondering, is the quality of these experiences shown in this video, the same as how it looks in the actual headset? just wondering because it seems like the quality isn’t too great to me.
Recorded video can look a bit better as it's not seen through the lenses and screens of the headset. For the money it's a great value device.

The virtual desktop is a disaster for me. The most power I get is 6.0mps. That’s it. Standing in front of my PC. I can’t watch videos, games etc. $9.99 was wasted.

I think SKYBOX is much better than Pigusus - I mean all aspects.
That's fair enough, Skybox is a great app and a very solid media player.
Sorry about that, I still find it great and mainly use it to review my VR videos. You can request a refund via the Oculus Go App.

1st game has awful frame stutter and frame drops...looks unbearable
So far, dreadhalls is the only good game for oculus go. Everything else i've tried is just stupid as fuck.
