Fun fact: this is actually just a world generation option that mojang added where you can mix up the dimensions/create custom worlds. This one is the nether dimension mixed to generate in the overworld. So no it’s not the farlands

This is one of the best 100 days video that i have ever watched. For a very long time I've watched other TH-camrs do 100 days but felt like okay they're good tho but it felt so normal Minecraft. Unlike this it made a touching feeling of a man like lost on the ocean looking for a hopeless land. The ending of the video felt like a lonely man's diary that died in a satisfying way... So overall it was awesome...
It's incredible how this person make us feel like the 100 days went fast with 16 minutes video, instead of a common 50 minutes of 100 days

Quick tip: if and when you find an igloo (if the series continues) they spawn with brewing stands. You can take those stands and give it to a villager for a job. Then you level up that villager and they have a 1/3 chance to sell you eyes of ender. Letting you skip the nether but still go to the end.

This was quite the video about thinking outside the box, building from scratch, enjoying setting goals for yourself and feeling proud by completing them.
The reason you didn’t get a chicken is because the 1/8 chance is a probability, meaning it’s basically like rolling a dice every time you throw and egg

A quick tip for casualty that is Actaully REALLY NICE is that suspicious stew made with dandelion red mushroom brown mushroom and a bowl can fill up to 6 hunger bars, and seeing how he was in a mushroom biome it should be easy.

3. Make crafting table
4. Make a bed
5. Build a house
6. Make a torch
7. Place a bed on the house
8. Find some food
9. Cook some food
10. Stay in a house and wait for 100 days and if your hungry, you can eat some food

If you're gonna retry this challange, try looking for wandering traders.
They have a chance to provide seeds trough their trades. The SciCraft Community with their skyblock challange did it pretty much the same way.

I always laugh at people when they're like "oOoh I made it 100 days in hArDcOrE". Meanwhile every time I start a hardcore world it ends before the day in real life
I am suprised that i just happened to look up 100 days minecraft and to find this the day of posting.
The Farlands: Who are you?
Cave only world: I'm you but better
This is an interesting concept, but it doesn't really look that much like the farlands in terms of generation, the strange broken minecraft logic isn't present either. The final nail is the lack of dimensional transport. Another poster was correct in saying that this looks more like an old "cave world" world type option, including the bedrock ceiling that isn't to build height, just like the nether, so I'm not sure why this mod breaks that. The nether was still accessible in the old cave world settings.
Isn’t there a villager that offers eyes of ender as a trade? Meaning theoretically if a stronghold was able to generate he could go to the end?

They did during the days of old villages. Then Eyes of Ender were swapped to Ender Pearls
