R110: Played a critical role in helping Cortex stopping the Timesplitters and Crow R109: Survived the Machine Wars and Timesplitter uprising. Goes on to beat the hardest level in the whole series. R108: Shoots up an entire space station just to steal a bag of groceries. Humble begins eh?
And who could forget about R107... a Man whom was so skilled yet so desperately wanted to survive the Machine Wars, that his mind cracked and became a facade of more machine than man... but if you were ever playing R107... *you were in for one hell of a ride.*
god this series is painfully underrated and overlooked. THQ Nordic taking their sweet time with making a new game and have the series on the top shelf where no one can reach it.
I used to play Timesplitters 3 with my cousin I miss that game Never did get around to unlocking everyone Elite League was way too hard I like the robot in the thumbnail Not sure if he ever appeared in the other games though
the beginning of spaceways is awesome! i always get shivers down my spine when the synthesizer starts with the high note! i really like the remix from spaceways at TS2 called virtual tile.
Man, listening back to the Timesplitters soundtrack, it is so fricking evident how it has affected my taste in music throughout the years. I absolutely LOVE drum and bass and techno music still to this day
Its called enjoying a game for it being a game and not a book. Games don't need stories to give them depth, even at that timesplitters had a story on the back.
Jody Trandana I think only a third of the team were Free Radical developers. They also didn't contribute much to Perfect Dark, since the team disbanded from Rare, mid way developing Perfect Dark.
@@TheSonic497 yeah, there were five guys that founded Free Radical that came from Rare. They were involved very early in the production of Perfect Dark, but mainly responsible for the engine (Steve Ellis) and the multiplayer component of GoldenEye, plus involved in donkey Kong country.
Right on the nose, Lee Ray mentioned that it, Gattica, Jetsons, and a few other far future movies influenced the design of the level. Imagine... A studio that was allowed to do pretty much anything it wanted to do...
I've never played the 1st one, but I love the music, maybe one of these days I'll buy a copy, if the game is bad (which I've heard) I won't mind cause it has the awesome music yeah!
@Tomaszavenger plot's never been that big of a problem when it came to shooters for me and if it is outdated (I say oldschool :3) I'd be fine with it, I still love the heck out of Goldeneye and many would consider that outdated I think
although i think i understand.. time splitters. i think what they were trying to do was make a game fast paced that was based on different time places.
I hate this level on Hard mode it pissed me off so much the fucking turrets and their aimbot attacks and some enemies with the auto-rifle and using the gernade launcher fire and getting me far way ugh so bullshit I just wanted to take my controller and throw at the wall in anger and I bet speed runners had a bad time on this level on HARD!
the two last ones were incredible. they had the story, the characters, the locations, the multiplayer and all that goodness. ts on the other hand was a mess. the entire singleplayer was missions where you had to run through a mze with infinitely respawning enemies, get a bag, and run back to where you started. that's it. the entire game. done deal. it had no story whatsoever, you weren't given a reason as to why you did, and it was unbalanced as hell. the two latter titles were incredible.

Typo! Cortex = Cortez
And who could forget about R107... a Man whom was so skilled yet so desperately wanted to survive the Machine Wars, that his mind cracked and became a facade of more machine than man... but if you were ever playing R107... *you were in for one hell of a ride.*
R108 and gretal did a little trollin
Makarov has nothing on R108
god this series is painfully underrated and overlooked.

I think it is safe to say that the nostalgia levels have gone dangerously high for me.
I used to play Timesplitters 3 with my cousin I miss that game Never did get around to unlocking everyone Elite League was way too hard I like the robot in the thumbnail Not sure if he ever appeared in the other games though
wow! memories are just flooding back.
omfg, every day i played timesplitters, it never bored me!
The TimeSplitters trilogy is epic.
the beginning of spaceways is awesome! i always get shivers down my spine when the synthesizer starts with the high note! i really like the remix from spaceways at TS2 called virtual tile.
Man, listening back to the Timesplitters soundtrack, it is so fricking evident how it has affected my taste in music throughout the years.

ALL games in the Timesplitters series are incredible
Its called enjoying a game for it being a game and not a book.

lmfao! I loved this level, good old times :)
"Order now, we delevered yesterday"
Lovely comercial poster reading outside of the intrance to the space airport.
Stupid airport not letting Robots take the final rocket flight.
Every time I come back to the soundtrack for Timesplitters, I discover a new awesome track.
Music reminds me of Perfect Dark....oh right cause they made Perfect Dark! AND Goldeneye! Best FPS developers of all time
Jody Trandana I think only a third of the team were Free Radical developers. They also didn't contribute much to Perfect Dark, since the team disbanded from Rare, mid way developing Perfect Dark.

This level was like The 5th Element.
this music belongs to akuma's theme from Capcom vs SNK Millennium fight 2000 right?
@108372799717520789795
Okay, I hear what you mean now about Akuma's music from CvSNK1. My profile pic is from CvSNK2.
Right on the nose, Lee Ray mentioned that it, Gattica, Jetsons, and a few other far future movies influenced the design of the level. Imagine... A studio that was allowed to do pretty much anything it wanted to do...
That song makes me SO pumped !
Those robots swarming over me as Gretel has been a rough ride on HARD
the game is frigging amazing
Capcom vs. SNK 1 Akuma theme
It was heroic to finish this on Hard
Timesplitters, Timesplitters 2, and Timesplitters Future Perfect are among awesome video games!! They are magnificent!!! Timesplitters forever!!
Agreed TS has an epic blend of weirdass and awesome characters, good music, and fun gameplay
Best FPS ever. Definitely the first to introduce bots and great multiplayer.
Perfect Dark (N64) had bots
Go tingles from the nostalgia on this one. Weird but cool
omg, 4 team capture the bag on this map was the best thing ever
Im sorry, but this is the BEST video game song EFFOR!
i remember the days of playing knockout mode with rocket launchers, assault shotguns miniguns and sci fi weaponry, best franchis ever
2035 is 12 years away from now
this one used to creep me out! hehe :)
best ps2 game :D
This is my girlfriends favourite song! I wouldn't know her if Timesplitters didnt exist
Ah, makes me proud to be an alien.
I've never played the 1st one, but I love the music, maybe one of these days I'll buy a copy, if the game is bad (which I've heard) I won't mind cause it has the awesome music yeah!
I still prefer TS 2 over all, always will, TS:FP was nothing short of amazing, but ALL THE TIMESPLITTERS GAMES WERE GREAAAAAT!
Sounds just like VR from timesplitters future perfect :P oh waaiitt
I love that game
Because VR was reused from TS1 Virtual Tileset.
@DoomsdayOdd no. VR is taken from spaceways. The mapaker for this game ost is EXACTLY the same in tsfp
everyone's favourite Timesplitters series character GO!
Mr Underwood
Captain Ash
R-110
Gretel
Duckman Drake
Nikolai
Another great song playing free for all in
wasn't this a playstation 2 first wave release?
yes
Futuristic! :D
i honestly wish they made a open world game based around the spaceways level like a whole new story that involves traveling to other planets
2024 this iconic
VR from ts3 was remixed from this song
the game is sick i luved it alot
best game franchise ever.
I wish it would make a comeback somehow Heck, I'd take an HD remake at this point
@Tomaszavenger plot's never been that big of a problem when it came to shooters for me and if it is outdated (I say oldschool :3) I'd be fine with it, I still love the heck out of Goldeneye and many would consider that outdated I think
ah the good memories of carnage when this song was playing:)
I used to think inspiration was kinda drawn from t.A.T.u Not Gonna Get Us
@dathip VR from TSFP is taken Directly from this game mapmaker.
@shanethefox The game is actually really good. and it has really good humour :) thats one of the reasons i love it.
@shanethefox Its actually really good.
@KylerWyler i'm not the only one who saw that i'm guessing ;)
Funky Industrial :)
Sounds Rob Dougan-ish
@shanethefox Its an epic game, you have to get it.
this strangely reminds me of crash bandicoot 3....
Its not bad but i'd suggest you buy TS2 OR TS:FP because they have the music in them aswell
Aluma !!
cant.... resist... raping.. the... REPLAY BUTTON!!
i named myself red alien in ts2 so i could blend in with the bots and hide who i was.....there was no red alien in ts2 =(
@shanethefox well the 1st one is really cheap only under 3 bucks!
its a nice game the best mission is mansion
although i think i understand.. time splitters. i think what they were trying to do was make a game fast paced that was based on different time places.
@ismokemid that's true lol
@Nukeman12345 yeah
@shanethefox The controls were shit, but the game is acually pretty good. ive wasted many hours on it just making my own levels
You guys think it sounds like vr in ts3 but vr sounds exactly like ts1 virtual tileset
it is the vr leel soundtrack XD
Creepy :S
@Badhyungah hahaha!!
Creepy
Im not suprised that this vid has no dislikes, probatly becuz there is no Dislike button....
4:31
its gr8, hard, theres no reward for playin apart from more anorexic charchters but its exellent

that is called laziness
