I'm so glad I found this TH-cam channel! I'm learning a lot from it even though I'm not a mother yet, and I'm only 18 and not even married. But my desire is to lead my future kids to God. I can't wait to teach them about God and how amazing and wonderful He is and teach them about Jesus! May God bless you and your family. ☺

The same people that say "you're enough" are the same people that think living messy is okay lol. I just brought home a newborn to my toddler girl of 3 years old and two weeks in the tantrums started and freaked me out. . I was immediately hit with my new reality that i've resigned my job to stay home with my girls and husband which is going to be a 24/7 responsibility.. no more nanny or hired help this is gonna be my ship to sail and I freaked out started doubting, fearing. With the encouragement of atleast two friends, my husband and ultimately prayer to God my whole mind and spirit have been renewed for the challenge... this really is the life i've always wanted but just like anything it takes doing it to get used to it and then of course God sent your channel my way.. I am SO with you about not liking the “hot mess mama” trope. It’s too easy to fall into and use that as an excuse. I don’t want to live in “hot mess” town. I want to strive to be better. I want my home to be clean when people come visit, though I don’t judge others for their homes. It’s nice to hear this opinion from someone else!

Not church rules though, just the convictions we came to as a family from studying various Scriptures.

I'm also a mother of three children and i know how difficult to make them attach to the preachings of God, especially nowadays. Infact, we are a muslim family. I find through your videos that we share some commun objectives, like how to be dedicated to God, how to educate children, and how to be good mother. Just to make you know we believe in Jesus christ please be upon him as we believe in all the messengers of god like Adam, Ibraham, Moses,, Noha and Mohammed, peace upon them all. I'm really happy that im writing for.
Jesus isn't just a prophet, though. He is God in the flesh! The Savior who was foretold by all the prophets. He is the only one who can take away our sin and make us clean in the sight of God.

My two older girls have phones that are closely supervised and monitored, and we use Unpluq to keep them on a schedule with their phone usage. They don’t do social media, except that one of my daughters has an Etsy shop and an instagram for her Etsy which I publish her posts and use it with her. These things are hard to navigate, but that’s how we are doing it for now. I want my teens to be trained to use phones wisely while under my care, but they can’t have full open access all the time. Hope that helps.
I am only a soon to be 16 year old girl from Finland, but my fiancé is from america. I want to be a godly, homeschooling, homesteading mom. I still haven't found a channel on youtube that I think represents more of what my dream is, and that truly is from a bible perspective than yours. Keep doing what you are doing, it's inspiring to me and a lot of others! There are people who fully support teen sex outside of marriage and teen gender changes, but then are unsupportive and offended by a teen who is engaged to be married. It’s also important to remember that different cultures get married at different ages.

I've recently seen this documentary called 'Happy Shiny People' and it shows some of the terrible practices by a certain Christian sect (blanket training, corporal punishment etc). You seem very kind and intentional in your approach. I'd love to understand your stance on these things. Do you discipline with kindness? Or do you believe in inflicting pain? Also, facade is pronounced FUH-SAD. I hope this doesn't come across as ride but as you are teaching your kids as well, thought I would let you know.
I haven’t seen the documentary, but I discipline with love and kindness, however children do need unpleasant consequences to learn boundaries. Thanks for the tip on pronunciation, I’ve actually heard it pronounced both ways, it may be a regional thing, kind of like how people pronounce words like “niche”, “pecan” or “data” differently based on region.
@@Abiding_Home Thanks again for responding so honestly. I get what you mean, kids can be fussy and trying and sometimes you need to be firm and explicit when you communicate with them. I don't believe in ever inflicting physical pain in the name of discipline though, there's too many scarring psychological consequences in the future. Time outs seem to work well. I think we may have different world views and approaches to this but I still really enjoy your videos. Especially seeing you love on the little babies.

This is so true. What encourages me is to realize motherhood is a MINISTRY-look at the ministry of Paul and especially Jesus!!! Ministry is about recharging in the Lord regularly to get filled by HIM to get out there and stay in the ministry! It is a ministry to Shepard children day in and day out and it is often joyful but also exhausting. do not know grow weary in doing good for in due season you will reap (Galatians).

Im a preschool teacher to 6 1 and 2 year olds and i am very frustrated because i don't like yelling at them to get them to obey but i feel like the only way i cac keep them safe is if i yell at them so they don't walk all over me can you give me any advice
Six toddlers is a lot! I hope you have an assistant teacher. For that age with so many, it would be best to create a very safe environment and keep your proximity very close to them. If one is hurting another, they can understand the consequence of having to sit in a high chair for a few minutes or come sit right next to you until they are ready to have self control and not hurt others. Use simple phrases with a calm but firm voice like “no hit” “no touch” “no climb” etc… this helps them understand what you are saying. Hope this helps!
I will pray now. I believe the Lord can give faith very young if it is His will Read them the Scriptures and explain to them the Gospel in simple language. And pray for their salvation. Also let them see that you love the Lord by your life. ❤️

I just wanted to ask, why do you and your daughters wear head scarves? Even though I was raised catholic, I never have noticed Christian women wearing headscarves? I don’t mean to be rude whatsoever but I’m so curious.
Love all your videos, I want to ask the question, if you allow me to do. I like that you teach your children at home. How did you start teaching them at home and why did you prefer studying at home rather than school?
I do like it though it can have its challenging moments of course. The full answer as far as why we do it is a bit long, but the main two reasons are this: First, we want to give our children a Christian education and we can’t afford Christian private school, nor do we think that is necessarily the best option for our particular children. 2nd, our government schools here in the United States teach many things that are completely contrary to what we believe, so that was not an option for us. I’m thankful for the freedom to choose this, I know many in other countries cannot decide to homeschool because of the laws.
I strongly agree with your opinion. You are a mother who cares about your children, and any mother would do the same thing. In fact, I know many people who preferred to homeschool their children in the United States and the United Kingdom, because schools began to teach things that are not normal to children to learn, and by force as well. My two older girls have phones that are closely supervised and monitored, and we use Unpluq to keep them on a schedule with their phone usage. They don’t do social media, except that one of my daughters has an Etsy shop and an instagram for her Etsy which I publish her posts and use it with her. These things are hard to navigate, but that’s how we are doing it for now. I want my teens to be trained to use phones wisely while under my care, but they can’t have full open access all the time. Hope that helps.

I still haven't found a channel on youtube that I think represents more of what my dream is, and that truly is from a bible perspective than yours. There are people who fully support teen sex outside of marriage and teen gender changes, but then are unsupportive and offended by a teen who is engaged to be married. It’s also important to remember that different cultures get married at different ages.

I've recently seen this documentary called 'Happy Shiny People' and it shows some of the terrible practices by a certain Christian sect (blanket training, corporal punishment etc). You seem very kind and intentional in your approach. I'd love to understand your stance on these things. Do you discipline with kindness? Or do you believe in inflicting pain?
Also, facade is pronounced FUH-SAD. I hope this doesn't come across as ride but as you are teaching your kids as well, thought I would let you know.
I haven’t seen the documentary, but I discipline with love and kindness, however children do need unpleasant consequences to learn boundaries.
Thanks for the tip on pronunciation, I’ve actually heard it pronounced both ways, it may be a regional thing, kind of like how people pronounce words like “niche”, “pecan” or “data” differently based on region.
@@Abiding_Home Thanks again for responding so honestly. I get what you mean, kids can be fussy and trying and sometimes you need to be firm and explicit when you communicate with them. I don't believe in ever inflicting physical pain in the name of discipline though, there's too many scarring psychological consequences in the future. Time outs seem to work well.
I think we may have different world views and approaches to this but I still really enjoy your videos. Especially seeing you love on the little babies.

This is so true. What encourages me is to realize motherhood is a MINISTRY-look at the ministry of Paul and especially Jesus!!! Ministry is about recharging in the Lord regularly to get filled by HIM to get out there and stay in the ministry! It is a ministry to Shepard children day in and day out and it is often joyful but also exhausting. do not know grow weary in doing good for in due season you will reap (Galatians).

Im a preschool teacher to 6 1 and 2 year olds and i am very frustrated because i don't like yelling at them to get them to obey but i feel like the only way i cac keep them safe is if i yell at them so they don't walk all over me can you give me any advice
Six toddlers is a lot! I hope you have an assistant teacher. For that age with so many, it would be best to create a very safe environment and keep your proximity very close to them. If one is hurting another, they can understand the consequence of having to sit in a high chair for a few minutes or come sit right next to you until they are ready to have self control and not hurt others. Use simple phrases with a calm but firm voice like “no hit” “no touch” “no climb” etc… this helps them understand what you are saying. Hope this helps!

I want to ask the question, if you allow me to do. I like that you teach your children at home. How did you start teaching them at home and why did you prefer studying at home rather than school?
I do like it though it can have its challenging moments of course. The full answer as far as why we do it is a bit long, but the main two reasons are this: First, we want to give our children a Christian education and we can’t afford Christian private school, nor do we think that is necessarily the best option for our particular children. 2nd, our government schools here in the United States teach many things that are completely contrary to what we believe, so that was not an option for us. I’m thankful for the freedom to choose this, I know many in other countries cannot decide to homeschool because of the laws.
I strongly agree with your opinion. You are a mother who cares about your children, and any mother would do the same thing. In fact, I know many people who preferred to homeschool their children in the United States and the United Kingdom, because schools began to teach things that are not normal to children to learn, and by force as well.
