Ha ha, so Richard Baker who also presented many classical music programmes on the radio and TV, wrote books on classical music and presented on Classic FM had a so-so record collection...there's hope for us all then!
He also appeared as narrator on a few classical recordings I once owned. I've still got one of them (Walton's "Façade" on Chandos) and very good he is, too.
It was not a so so collection - it was abysmal.
I wonder if they were his records? Maybe they were his mum's, and he still had his records in their shelves in another room?
It does seem odd that a classical music buff would get rid of all his records, but maybe he had "everything" on CD by then.
@@DadgeCity maybe he was waiting for an unsuspecting record dealer to buy his Mum's crappy vinyl :)
@@DadgeCityU assume he wasn't selling his dross etc
Richard Baker is probably not the bourgeois fool he is assumed to b...He had obviously pick out the corkers of which there wud B many mayb
It should have been anyone other than Tony Blair: the problem wasn't the Labor Party as a whole, and the problem wasn't _New Labor_ -the problem was Tony Blair.
Ouch!
There is also the extra fuel consumption with all that weight for the return journey!

Can only get better'
Great story 👍
