Its also why mons that depend on technology to exist (such as Porygon, Cranidos and Shieldon) can also be regularly found in the wild here
Y'know, the camera not being fixed isn't the only unfortunate thing about this update. You know how pokemon spawn in the walls? Yeah, they still do that, but you can't target them anymore - only way to encounter them is to run into them, and there are pokemon who will run *away* from you. Oh, but don't worry, you can still clip the camera to see *inside* said walls as well so you can know for sure if you have a shiny out of reach :D
How dare you underestimate the Lanturn enjoyers. It was my first shiny hunt didn't even do an outbreak. I love Lanturn although I'll always keep wishing for a buff. I can always utilize him but still itd be awesome if he was a wee bit stronger or faster or bulky. In hesitate to want an evolution because i love it as is he just could really benefit from like 20 more stat points. Also I'm glad we share the same feelings about the Incaroar line.
As much as I might be disappointed in it’s competitive performance (well based on what I made its set), lanturn is just a gem! Whishcash and lanturn are both so unique, but I wish lanturn had something to boost itself like whishcash and dragon dance

So I’ve still been hunting using the synchro machine and I think I figured out how to use it properly. The best way to use it is for Mass Outbreaks. Because you have direct control over your Pokemon, you can safely knock out the exact number you need before you get max odds. If you are hunting something like Minior, I don’t recommend using the synchro machine for it. However if you did find a shiny Pokemon, don’t touch it. I figured out you auto battle when you get really close to the Pokemon. So instead of moving close to it, you’ll want to click on the home button twice to open up the Switch’s camera. Zoom in so that way you can check if it’s shiny or not and if it is, then switch back to your character.
You have to give Raihan props, he is on par with the champion of 10 years with an unevolved Pokemon (and can never even evolve because of the dynamax feature)

Then I went to go complete some quests for BP, and I found two random shinies in the span of 3 minutes, a shiny alolan eggecute (I can't spell it, help me) and a shiny slakoth
I completed the DLC in 7 hours after release (including not playing the the game idk how long without including that) probably around 5 hours removing the bike ride back to my house and eating dinner and other stuff
“Game Freak hates shiny hunters” has got to be the worst take I’ve ever heard. It really sucks that such a great video had to be ruined by a petty rant.

Additionally, you want to position the player character to the center of the outbreak as best as you can to avoid any shinies despawning.
