Sadly, my dudes, the vocalist in this video passed away 21 years ago. Dave Williams was an outstanding singer and frontman, the rock community still misses his talent and kindness to this day.
If you were a wrestling fan in the late 90's and early 00's it's hard to hear bands like Drowning Pool, Saliva, & Limp Bizkit without getting nostalgic.
Drowning Pool is one of so many great bands out of Dallas. This song never gets old. Excellent choice. Shout out to their guitarist CJ Pierce. Such a cool dude. R.I.P. Dave Williams 🖤🤘
If you were in the military in the early 2000s this song was inescapable and omnipresent. Every 1SG in the Army latched on to it as a way to pump up the troops, and played it ad nauseum. This and "Proud to Be an American". I'm pretty over both.
@@GrimrDirge lol I cant believe that proud to be an American song is still being used for any reason. Didn't that song get put out in the 70's or something like that? Or hell maybe I'm way off base here, did it actually work to get y'all stoked?
Dave Williams was the nicest guy. Worked with him for a short term, new him personally, partied with him and experienced the next mornings AC/DC wake up music and loved it. RIP Dave
Was it true he passed while taking a nap on the road? I heard he was always reading stuff and had fallen asleep while doing so, and just never woke up.

When I was deployed to Kuwait back in 2019 Drowning Pool came out and did a concert for us. It was absolutely lit! They started with Bodies, played it once or twice more in their set, ended with and, and encored it, twice. The last time they played it, half of us went up on stage to sing it with them, the other half was in a mosh pit, and the Marines were pulling off pieces of the stage and jumping around with it. One of my favorite memories from my time there.
It's a real shame that this original lead singer Dave Williams died on their tour bus from a heart condition. Way too young. ONLY 30 years old. I absolutely loved every song on this debut album. The jam SINNER is really good too. RIP DW 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘
LOL😂😂 Y’all had me cracking up and just getting into it. Y’all were feeling it and I was waiting for ya’ll to start moshing in there. It’s good to see the younger generations keep the old ways active. I used to hit the heavy bag to metal in the early 00s until my knuckles bled. This was in heavy rotation.

I had the privilege to not only see Drowning pool twice in concert but I also had the honor of meeting the original band one week before the original singer was found dead on the tour bus 😪🤘🏻🤘🏻
I was at a concert headlined by Drowning Pool before Dave (the lead singer) died. Drowning pool was on the poster. Dave walked thru the crowd, and saw the poster with his own face on the floor. Dave jumped up in the air, stomped on his own face, signed it, and gave it to me. Super nice dude. Rest In Peace.
I love this song. It came out when I was in high school shortly before September 11/2001. Because of the circumstances it was shelved and most radio stations and mtv wouldn’t play it. I thought you should know this fact, because I love it. It deserves more credit and has nothing to do with terrorism other really bad and unfortunate timing. Thanks for reacting and giving this band and son their credit!
I grew up with Don't Stop Believin'! In fact Journey played the soundtrack of my life back when I was a kid. Journey NOT being on the radio at least 50 times a day was unheard of. I'm still hoping y'all play Public Enemy - Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos and Can't Truss It but Journey will do.
Ya'll really need to react to some Limp Bizkit..."Break Stuff". Ya'll would love it if you bump to this. Plus Snoop and Em make an appearance in it. You need to go down the Limp Bizkit rabbit hole!
AYYY ALASKA LOVE. Grew up in Fairbanks and yes there’s a lot of folks of all kinds up in Alaska. "Love, fury, passion, energy" by Boy Hits Car is a song that I think you guys will vibe with. It goes hard and it's nostalgic as fuck for WWE/WWF fans 🤘🏻
I’ve been a subscriber for awhile, I love watching your reaction videos and your interaction with each other. And her idea that is was the biggest lie ever sold? I’m just curious what you guys think about it.
If you're going to do a reaction video for Journey, you should make it a comparison video. One where you listen to both lead singers do the same song to see which one you think is better. Steve Perry (1977 - 1998), Arnel Pineda (2007 - Present),
