Hi, I have xiaomi mi4i mobile . I followed the steps and successfully done the flashing. Even after disconnecting it and holding the power button for 6 minutes , it did not work. Then hold power and volume down arrow for 7 minutes, but still it did not work. what to do now???
I know you won't believe this (I didn't, until I tried it and it worked), but before you try this solution, here's what I did. My model was the Redmi Note 9S. I upgraded from MIUI 12 to MIUI13. On restarting, the phone went into bootloop. Couldn't go to recovery mode, the phone was just stuck. After reading advice in Reddit, I started pressing and releasing the power button repeatedly as fast as I could, like a maniac, feeling foolish, while the phone was restarting every 10 seconds. After a whole minute I got tired, and it was still in bootloop. Note that all this time the phone was hooked to a charger. I unplugged it from the charger, and the bootloop stopped! My phone booted normally, finished installing MIUI 13 and works fine. I even upgraded it to MIUI 14 immediately after that, and it worked as well. No data was lost. I don't know if just unplugging the charger did it, or if it was a combination of unplugging it AND pressing the button repeatedly. But I got my phone back, and I'm posting this in case it helps someone else.
My phone just keeps restarting and when i try to go into the fast boot it just sort of, goes back to restarting not letting the fast boot stay on for long enough for me to change anything
@@izuwu4843 yh, i think it might be watter damage or something, because i vommited on mine and it did i left it in rice for a day and it kept doing it but then i left it on the charger for a couple of hours and it started charging, it was on 0% and it couldnt charge because of how fast the restarting was, but eventually it got enough power to get to 1% and from there i turned it on and i just try not to turn it off just in case now!!! good luck on ur one tho. I have a xiaomi redmi note 7, overall i am super happy with it !!!

I can freely switch from those screens but the phone itself wont open!!! ive tried so many things and it wont work :( . Basically ive had this phone for a LONG time and did not back it up. When you are stuck on the logo, white mi. Press power button and volume up for 10 seconds to restart your phone. Do it for a few times. Then it boots successfully

is there any way to unbrick a chinese Mi8 dipper with locked BL? Recently there are a lot of mi 8 bricks because Xiaomi sold abroad many device (before global model), and after that they bricked them via OTA update. All the users needs authorised Xiaomi account to flash via EDL , but Xiaomi did not authorised any of them. Maby there are other ways. If you find out something please do a tutorial. Thanks a lot.

What i did with my phone: I didn't enable mi account, I didn't enable developer mode. Now after MIUI 9.5 Update it stuck on MI logo. I tried various ways, including seeking permission from MI to unlock my bootloader. they gave me permission and the kit but during flash at 99% it said my phone was not bound with the same account ( As i told, I don't enable Mi services at all ) 1. using Mi flash tool with fast boot mode enabled. it showed error that critical partion can not be written or something like that sort. 2. tried using SD card with update . zip using recovery mode. SD card was not detected by Mi- Recovery 3.0 then i wiped all data by mistake instead of reboot to system. 3. tried using MIAssistant it didn't detect. What should I do? I am afraid to use self-made deep-flash cable as it doesn't have button. though i've ordered a deep flash cable for Xaomi (Quallcomm) I'm not sure i it will completely brick my phone beyond repair. Can you pls guide me?

Hold power button and volume up button for at least 10 secs and your phone will restart from the stucked mi logo.

extracting the flash file is a 2 step process. From the tgz extraction you get a TAR file. Extract that too

Did you find anything? I don't want to use the Unlock the Bootlader option, it takes a long time and it's not 100% reliable
If you don't want to unlock bootloader u can just download fastboot rom and flash it with mi flash tool
Go to service center as the last option..
