This machine is mainly to drill farmland soil. But when you encounter the rock layer under the ground, you could use the core barrel to drill through the rock layer. The core barrel is 130mm diameter and 1.5meter length. When it is full Stuffed with stones, you have to take out the core barrel and Pour out stones. It is very low speed to drill rock, so if the rock layer is very thick, it is a not ok to use this drilling machine.
WARNING: if you use the core barrel at deep borehole, please put the PVC protective tube inside the borehole well firstly. It could avoid collapse to bury the drilling pipes and drilling bits. The core barrel is 130mm, so your borehole well should be 200mm at least.
