About Orihime’s new outfit: she normally wouldn’t wear that type of clothing. She was actually tricked by Urahara to wear it because he told her it would make Ichigo happy. It was a joke in the manga that got cut this ep bc it had a weird gag with her boobs 😭

In terms of threat, Mayuri definitely surpassed Kisuke in TYBW. In terms of usefulness and reliability by the end of the arc I saw him as one of the great pillars that'll support the next generation of Soul Society
I am not a manga reader so I don't know what happens, but I'm not sure that Hitsugaya is dead. Giselle only said that Quincy's have to be dead to be turned into zombies, not soul reapers. So he might still be alive
Gigi said that she has to kill Quincies to turn them into zombies, but she didn't say anything about having to kill Soul Reapers, so Hitsugaya isn't exactly "dead" in that sense.
My favorite thing about Mayuri is that Urahara literally let him out of prison. We don't know why he was in there but given his predilections it's not hard to guess
We know why, he was too dangerous. As explained in that flashback, the whole point of the prison he was in was that that's where they put soul reapers who haven't yet comited any crimes but are deemed too dangerous to be let roaming freely, or to be accurate, more dangerous than useful.

I'm really glad you caught how it's unusual for Orihime to use this type of clothing. Not everyone seems to remember she dresses normally and covered up most of the story since they think her being busty makes her fanservice 24/7. Unfortunately they seem to have cut the explanation for Orihime's outfit from this episode, but basically Urahara made that outfit for her and told her it would make Ichigo very happy if she wore it 😂 It lead to a whole gag moment with Chad putting Ichigo on the spot asking him about it, Ichigo blushing but saying it's a bit revealing. Orihime feeling embarrassed that Ichigo thinks she's an exibhisionist now because of Urahara (who made it so that she can't close it in the middle because it's open at the sides too). Yoruichi showing up, defending Orihime and scolding Ichigo for being a coward and not taking the chance to compliment Orihime, and Urahara just enjoying it all feeling glad he made the outfit after all.

Ulquiorra turned to dust though, my eyes would roll 360 if they hand waved him back to life. Luppi shouldn't be here either, Grimmjow disintegrated his whole upper body. Stark though? He had his full corpse left in FKT, it'd be awesome/tragic if Mayuri zombified him, he'd get some serious work done here.
[Tidbits & Clarifications] - Comedic scenes revolving around Orihime's attire were removed. It expresses that Urahara made the outfit and Orihime wore it to impress Ichigo, but naturally Ichigo wasn't properly aware. - The scene with Yumichika covering his nose is purposely re-recorded for Western audiences. In the Manga and in the Japanese episode Yumichika is actually saying to Giselle: " You're a man, aren't you. You may think you have concealed it but frankly, you stink of semen" (This was likely changed for Western audiences because of political issues) - Many forget that the Shiba family was or rather are by blood one of the 5 Major Noble Families. The fact that they have a canon capable of reaching the Soul Palace says a lot and brings up some interesting questions. (Plus Imagine how strong Kukaku fire must be if she has enough energy to set off the canon) - We've learned some rules for Giselle's Zombification. To Zombify a Quincy they must be fully dead, whereas shinigami simply needs to come into contact with her blood but clearly, there is more to it otherwise Yhwach would have taken Giselle with her to turn someone like Aizen or Yamamotot into a Zombie. - Many people miss it but Giselle and her awful treatment towards Bambi is supposed to mimic how Mayuri was first introduced. He used Nemu as a tool and was wickedly violent and sadistic. By using Giselle/Bambietta as a parallel it shows us in part how Mayuri has grown since then. (Though Mayuri still isn't that good of a person but certainly better) - Some people Claim that Mayuri having the Zombies is plot armor but as the episode showed with the flashback he did in fact raid Szyelapporo's Lab after he defeated him (The Pink-Haired Scientist Espada) in the Hueo Mundo arc and we know that Szyel was collecting the defeated Arrancar. This just shows that Kubo had this concept planned way in advance. - Another thing about Giselle's zombification is that it would seem that the Zombies aren't as strong as they once were. Bambi was clearly a much greater threat when she was alive and in control, and though the revived Arrancar have likely gotten stronger it wouldn't be enough to defeat above Captain Class threats so easily. - Though it was only episodes ago many seem to have forgotten that a mysterious figure appeared near Toshiro after he fell unconscious. We see now that it was Giselle. [Repost]

Hitsugaya in quincy drip is soo fkn cold. Remember the explanation GiGi gave. To make a quincy zombie, she has to do it when they are dead. For Soul Reapers, she just has to splash blood on them while they are alive.
Gigi is one of the most horrible of the Sternritter's. He's a psychotic serial killer that has wanted to kill all of Bambi's squad and make them his zombie slaves. What's worse is the realization of what the zombies are hungering. It's not even a spoiler it's just so dark that mentally we shy away from it. It's a perverted form of slavery. You forgot what Mauri looks like without all the makeup? When Ishida blasted him the first time you later saw him get out of a pool while Nemu watched. This was when Isane was announcing Azien's betrayal to everyone.

Mayuri has changed But the biggest change is with Nemu If this was soul society, he would have been smacking her like Gissel smacked Bambi, thats why it so cool to pair them up to fight It shows the schift of his character and really, i dont think he wants to attack the zombie shinigamis, before he would have enjoyed it, but now, its more like he doesnt really care/duty, they are supposed to be soldiers ready to die and he is taking them like that
In defense of Gigi killing Bambi and making her a zombie, she didn't want to loose her and if not turned into a zombie she would have been executed by Haschwalth and absorbed by Yhwach. So while not ideal this was a way to avoid that fate and still exist.

One of the things that i love in bleach, is when they doing the trash talk and banter during the fight. Even Kenpachi's trash talk kept gremmy imagination at his bay. They really left out a really funny moment from the manga with Orihime, Ichigo and Yoruichi and I know it's because of the feminists backlash they fear! They censored a lot in this episode. So sad that they gave in.
Meanwhile in an alternate universe Bambietta Basterbine pointed toward the four and said, "You all deserve to die. Especially by my hand. They listened, but remained quiet. She looked over her should and said, "I will never forget, but I will forgive you." And then… she began to walk away. She walked past Ichigo, who was just as stunned and in disbelief as the four other Quincy. All those years of talking about how she planned to execute her revenge. All those years of suffering. Ichigo was there for all of them. And here she is. Just walking past it all. And what of the other female Quincy? Well, that would have to be up to them. They will walk their own paths just as Bambietta has. Whether or not they will become better people is all on them. Bambietta came here in order to seek revenge, to seek her pride and strength again. But that didn't happen. She forgives them not because they deserve it, but because she deserves peace.
While it's never explicitly stated, it's heavily implied in the manga that what Bambi wants from Giselle is...ahem...we all know what Giselle made Bambi addicted to. 😅really REALLY messed up.
Kinda annoyed that the Arrancars were suddenly Captain+ level here, even that one dude Yumichika clapped. Bambii clapped Shinji and would've clapped Komamura if not for his immortality, she was also the leader of the girls' team which meant she was obviously the strongest one there, yet suddenly Charlotte is strong enough to effortlessly toy with & defeat Bambii? Even when this dude wasn't even at Aaroniero's level? I'd like to believe being zombified made Bambi astronomically weaker than she was alive, but even that doesn't explain that dumb power scaling there.
People in here really defending Trashiro lol. Hitsugaya has always dropped the ball when it mattered most. One-shot by Aizen in SS arc, he barely survived Arrancar 11, couldn't kill Luppi, couldn't kill Hallibel (even with his "certain death" ultimate ice flower attack), got bodied by Aizen again (mentally and physically), got his bankai stolen, and finally, he got done in by a mere 2 fingers from Bazz-B (because he stopped to explain his new shikai synergy, like an idiot). Renji, I repeat RENJI is fighting Bazz-B's 4 fingers. Toshiro's loveable, he's the underdog you want to root for, but he's just not him. Maybe that's about to change, one of the trailers had him looking fresh so there's still hope for redemption.
A little trivia: Mayuri uses “watashi” informally as a pronoun, which in Japan is almost always used by women and in that context has an effeminate connotation. So him and Giselle are paralleled directly in their mannerisms and ways of doing things. Basically showing us we’re lucky Mayuri is on our side and how morally gray the “good” side can be. Those Quincy mayuri killed and tortured were entirely innocent because they were the descendants of survivors living peacefully, not the original invaders from 1000 years ago. As for Bambi, she spent her life basically as a serial killer for her own enjoyment. Karma is a bitch. And Yumichika in the manga said that Gigi “smells like semen” which…I mean I always thought he was gay or something with his parallels to the purple arrancar who’s a reference to gay culture in Japan but damn Yumichika how tf you smell that from five feet away.

Honestly the humour was the best part of the episode and really took me back to og bleach like some of mayuri scenes

To Zombify a Quincy they must be fully dead, whereas shinigami simply needs to come into contact with her blood but clearly, there is more to it otherwise Yhwach would have taken Giselle with her to turn someone like Aizen or Yamamotot into a Zombie.
- Many people miss it but Giselle and her awful treatment towards Bambi is supposed to mimic how Mayuri was first introduced. He used Nemu as a tool and was wickedly violent and sadistic.
By using Giselle/Bambietta as a parallel it shows us in part how Mayuri has grown since then.
(Though Mayuri still isn't that good of a person but certainly better)
- Some people Claim that Mayuri having the Zombies is plot armor but as the episode showed with the flashback he did in fact raid Szyelapporo's Lab after he defeated him (The Pink-Haired Scientist Espada) in the Hueo Mundo arc and we know that Szyel was collecting the defeated Arrancar. This just shows that Kubo had this concept planned way in advance.
- Another thing about Giselle's zombification is that it would seem that the Zombies aren't as strong as they once were. Bambi was clearly a much greater threat when she was alive and in control, and though the revived Arrancar have likely gotten stronger it wouldn't be enough to defeat above Captain Class threats so easily.
- Though it was only episodes ago many seem to have forgotten that a mysterious figure appeared near Toshiro after he fell unconscious. We see now that it was Giselle.

In defense of Gigi killing Bambi and making her a zombie, she didn't want to loose her and if not turned into a zombie she would have been executed by Haschwalth and absorbed by Yhwach. So while not ideal this was a way to avoid that fate and still exist.

Bambii clapped Shinji and would've clapped Komamura if not for his immortality, she was also the leader of the girls' team which meant she was obviously the strongest one there, yet suddenly Charlotte is strong enough to effortlessly toy with & defeat Bambii? Even when this dude wasn't even at Aaroniero's level? I'd like to believe being zombified made Bambi astronomically weaker than she was alive, but even that doesn't explain that dumb power scaling there.

People in here really defending Trashiro lol. Hitsugaya has always dropped the ball when it mattered most. One-shot by Aizen in SS arc, he barely survived Arrancar 11, couldn't kill Luppi, couldn't kill Hallibel (even with his "certain death" ultimate ice flower attack), got bodied by Aizen again (mentally and physically), got his bankai stolen, and finally, he got done in by a mere 2 fingers from Bazz-B (because he stopped to explain his new shikai synergy, like an idiot). Renji, I repeat RENJI is fighting Bazz-B's 4 fingers. Toshiro's loveable, he's the underdog you want to root for, but he's just not him. Maybe that's about to change, one of the trailers had him looking fresh so there's still hope for redemption.

A little trivia: Mayuri uses “watashi” informally as a pronoun, which in Japan is almost always used by women and in that context has an effeminate connotation. So him and Giselle are paralleled directly in their mannerisms and ways of doing things. Basically showing us we’re lucky Mayuri is on our side and how morally gray the “good” side can be. Those Quincy mayuri killed and tortured were entirely innocent because they were the descendants of survivors living peacefully, not the original invaders from 1000 years ago.
As for Bambi, she spent her life basically as a serial killer for her own enjoyment. Karma is a bitch. And Yumichika in the manga said that Gigi “smells like semen” which…I mean I always thought he was gay or something with his parallels to the purple arrancar who’s a reference to gay culture in Japan but damn Yumichika how tf you smell that from five feet away.
