@Vincent Shepard thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I've done a tremendous amount of full-swing and wedge work these last 2 years to lower my handicap to a 6. I now know that the last 6 strokes is going to require complete focus on putting - and this drill is now going to be my religion. Thank you for posting this 11-yrs ago.
This WORKS!!! I tried it at Oak Marsh and made 60 four foot putts in a row before moving on to longer ones without the tee guides. This drill made me realize I was changing my stroke slightly on most putts. Once I stopped and just rolled the ball I MADE EVERYTHING!! This was the biggest breakthrough or tip I've had in years.
You know I was watching some old videos of Tiger putting, and when he was at his best, like in this video, he always has a really narrow stance. While in 2015, he seemed to have a much wider stance, and his putting seemed to suffer. Idk just something I noticed that seemed interesting.
@@RollYourRock you may have seen it but do yourself a favor and watch my favorite putting video of tigers all time "Golf Digest: My Game Tiger Woods episode 5 my putting" Or just search Tiger Woods putter in TH-cam and it'll be one of the top three results.. Also notice how many balls he brings on the putting green with him.. I used to think it was amateur to bring more than two balls on the putting green but that has changed. Unless I'm running late for a round, I always use his two tee drill- check out that video it's a putting lesson from Tiger Woods basically
@@RollYourRock Great! Yes, "Golf Digest My Putting Tiger Woods My Game Episode 5" is most excellent! Did ya really watch it? It's Not too long either-perfect duration. Folks often suggest I watch stuff of no interest to me, but I truly thought it seemed perfect for you to watch that video judging from your Channel Content- It's right up your alley! Actually filmed within the past year or so, high quality filming by Golf Digest with special unprecedented access to Tiger's Insights on putting as he's putting on a private putting green at his Club.
@@RollYourRock The Two-Tee drill we've seen him do 1 million times. No surprise to you, huh? But it was cool to hear him finally talk about it, how he sets it up, and why he does that drill. I found interesting how important & how much Tiger practices hitting the center of the club face. Tiger *Repeats* If I can't hit the putt solid in the middle of the putter face then he can't control his speed, if he can't control his speed then he can't control his distance, if he can't control his distance he can't control his line! Thats what I've been practicing hard.. Man you wouldn't believe how many putts we actually miss hit and how hard it is to consistently find the sweet spot on the putter face. It gives you unbelievable feedback after you've gotten good at it. By practicing this for months I've now learned that if I hit the dead center of The Sweet Spot I'm basically assured the putt will be *on-line* & sunk.
in Phil M's video he said his drill is 200 in a row around a circle. (About a few feet distance I forgot exactly) But he said 200 is what a pro should be willing to sacrifice to improve. If you. miss one you start over.
@@RollYourRock yeah it was hard to forget because he was talking about dedication and the difference between champions and regular people. The regular person would be happy at 50 or 100 and think that is good enough.
@@RollYourRock haha today I tried this same Tiger drill. I decided to stay until I made 30 like I think people say he did here. It took me an hour or so and to get to 29 with one hand (right). Then on the 30th I collapsed and pushed it right. I had to leave to pick up my nephew. That was it. I manufactured pressure and crumbled on the last shot. I remembered Mito's drive when he was one up on the last hole to win the PGA. It was a swing no one had ever seen. th-cam.com/video/1EeExxAe1E8/w-d-xo.html
I think Tigers stroke is inside down the line. You get it naturally when you putt one handed and release to target. Well, putting to picture like Tiger has said many times 👍
I pity so well in this drill with one hand. it allows me to release the putter through the stroke. once the left hand comes back onto the putter I start missing again
😂... Yes, I remember this: th-cam.com/video/UbCMe33YjW0/w-d-xo.html Analysts always tried to talk about how weather conditions and wind and golf course conditions could impact Tiger’s game. The reality of it was that he seemed almost invincible... What we know about this is that Tiger truly has a stronger mental game than anyone else.... When the weather got tough, he simply changed his swing and his game to compensate for the conditions. Tiger would not get annoyed with the weather or let it impact his scoring, and this is what truly sets him apart as one of the best golfers in bad weather.... Tiger spent his childhood almost being programmed to become a golfer... His junior career included many tournaments where he had to compete in weather situations which were less than ideal... Tiger was able to collect 15 Major Championships, and those would not have occurred without some rounds of golf in the wind and the rain... There is no question that he could play a solid round of golf, even in the pouring rain... On days when the course is windy, Tiger is able to hit these stinger-type shots which cut directly through the wind... Not only are his shot-making skills impressive, but he has the ability to pull off these shots when the pressure is on... One thing you can say about Tiger is that he was not a fair-weather golfer.
There is some good information to be gained from the audio... otherwise you would be listening to music. Notah is no dummy! Remember, he went to Stanford and has four PGA tour wins! Just sayin...
As a golfer, this is captivating. The entire 6 minutes and 27 seconds. Thanks for uploading.

This is ridiculous. It’s like a machine. And he has no margin for error with the tees and legit never misses a putt.

This is a putting drill tiger has utilized since he was a junior. He's getting a sense/feel for the toe of the putterhead releasing through impact.
