The underlying stocks are same in both direct and regular schemes. I am not sure how she is telling regular funds give more returns than direct scheme funds. And it’s not how many units you are getting that matters , it is rate of returns you are getting for the money you are invested. In this case you will be getting same returns for both funds but you have to pay more commission in regular funds
