It's a shame. My BMW dealership does a half ace job of detailing as well. We pay so much for service and I get it it is a free detail but they make it worse.. Great work fellas.
Some random guy who gets paid nothing does what takes 16 man hours in about an hour. No surprise the end product is garbage. Dealerships always look to where they can maximize the most profits, and unfortunately they figure delivering a sub par product to a client is the easiest way. I'd go so far as to make them pay a professional if they washed my vehicle at all during service. I vehemently request no wash or detailing service as I do my own professional level work .

I bought some mirror hangars that say don't wash the car when I take mine in to Genesis. I put one on the mirror, one on the seat, and also tell the service rep to let them know not to wash my car. I don't care if I had a Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, anything. After seeing on Reddit how car dealerships 'clean' the customers cars, there's no way I'd let them touch mine.
Awesome job on making the RS3 look better than show room quality! The body color, wheels and interior colors are perfect together! Love how thorough you are on the detail!
Very good video. The fact that you dried the entire car off with compressed air instead of coming into contact with the paint with a drying towel, ect is THE BEST WAY to dry a car/truck. Even if you don't have a big enough air compressor, you can always use a vacuum on the blower side to blow the car/truck off. Always make sure the vacuum hose is clean on the inside. You don't want to blow debris onto the paint and scratch it up.
If it was loved, it wouldn't of arrived with bird droppings that is just etching into the paint and a dirty interior. I bet this Audi is not looking this good anymore.
Watching you guys bring this car back to life was nothing short of amazing. It looked like it was brand new and probably better than the factory had it. You guys are awesome .
Hey I currently own a 07 rs4 in the black color! And I love to detail it this video just makes me want to leave school and go detail it right now lol! Love the application and the style of your guys videos! Keep it going!
After seeing this video, I bought the MAD leather for my RS3 because the previous owner stained the leather with some spray and your leather cleaner took it out with a couple of tries. I was so amazed because I tried using the Chemical Guys leather cleaner multiple times and the stains would no come off (it’s going in the trash)! I also ordered the ceramic interior detailer, and I can’t wait to use it! You guys are now my go to for detailing supplies!
We manufacture our own products so they go through so much real world testing unlike most companies. But to see that it’s all paid off and people really enjoy them means the world to me! I really appreciate all the support.

The Audi RS3 models were going for roughly $40-$45k before covid & all this craziness. Now, a model 2018 & below will still go for around the $45-$50k range but going into 2019+ your looking at about $55-$65k depending on options. The new 2021-2022 models are close to the $70k mark. These cars are a beauty.
@@stopit5681 I was talking pricing of the vehicle. As for the detail I’m pretty sure it’s in the $300-$500 range since the owner did a complete detail on the car.
That is one sweeeeeet ride bro, love the colour, rims, exhaust sounds, nice. To me the ultimate was always the S6 until I saw this...... it's just enough, just right. Great job as always, better than factory condition I say.

What was the polisher you used on the grill ? I have a rules LHR21 and a run Ed duetto but I think I need something slightly smaller for those tight areas
Unfortunately this is pretty common practice at most dealers, they will often keep cars a complete mess up until the week of delivery, I worked at Mazda where they would literally store brand new vehicles in a dusty basement complex the cars would be filthy with bird poop on the roofs, scuff marks up and down the car.
Thank you very much for the video guys. In particular, I would have sealed the window frames, locks, lights and I would also have used the Rupes ibrid nano long neck polisher for the inside of the doors, edges of the body and the flex pxe 80 polisher with the flexible shaft set for the handles of the doors. Otherwise good job. 👍
I wish my GTI could get that kind of level of detailing, the previous owners scratched the shit out of the paint by going to touch car washes so now I gotta get it professionally detailed lol
Bro I've always wonder what do u use on the windows to make it so shine is there a special product for that or it just automatically becomes shine after washing
Great job. Nicely done. But please consider the following: 13:31 and 13:46 and 17:40 (are you sitting on the seat or the door sill?) and 17:50 and 18:35... Respect the seats! You need to clean the doors and seats without sitting sideways on seat bolsters. It's so easy to clean the doors from outside of the car. And 90% of the seats can be cleaned by leaning in, rather than sitting on the seat edges. Easier than what you're doing in this video, actually. The edges of car seats are usually the first to show signs of wear (wrinkles, cracks, etc.), and sitting on them sideways while cleaning is just unnecessary. You're putting those seat bolsters through the equivalent of months of wear in just one detail. For cleaning the doors, kneeling outside the door is easier. For cleaning the seats, reaching in instead of sitting sideways and twisting is easier. When you do have to sit in the car, try to sit square instead of crushing the bolsters. Your current approach makes me cringe. The right approach preserves the seats AND makes your job easier. But still, very good detail.
Did you guys move to a different building again? I noticed in your newer videos your at different building. Also I absolutely love watching your videos.
To get all VW family car wipers in the wash position, within 10 seconds of switching off the ignition, touch the wiper washer stalk and it will swipe up and stay up, then you can raise the blades off the windscreen.

I have a cheap suede steering wheel wrap (Cut to my steering wheel and sown on by me) I didn't use any adhesive on it, and so far (6 months) it holds well just by the tension. I found it collects a lot of dust, and the best way to get rid of this dust is with a drill brush. I do not recommend using it on high end cars obviously, just shared my experience.
I have passed by multiple dealerships and high end cars. You see a guy pulling a water hose with a 5 gallon bucket and using A bristle brush on a stick washing cars. I have had to wait before when i purchased one and out back they were doing the same wash style.
In the UK, they are on minimum wage so they aren’t specialised, they are just their to make a car look clean. I personally don’t care but if you do, don’t let them ever wash or vacuum your car if it has a service as they are likely not washing it too safely. White cars not much of an issue though.
Wonderful work! Could you give me a general idea of how much a full service like this (interior/exterior/claybar/paint correction/ceramic coating) would cost for an average-sized car? I realize the cost would differ in different areas of the country, but are we talking about roughly $150? $300? $600? ???
If I was going to buy a vehicle from a dealership I certainly would not want it to look like this. No it’s not a disaster but it’s not in the shape it needs to be in to be sold.
Also wanted to point out when he was buffing and cutting that light wasn't just a flashlight its a sun light when cleaning painting ect that light imitates sunlight to see if your colors in your paint are correct!!!
Wow, that dealership should be absolutely disgusted in themselves! I would never take my vehicle back there! How many miles did they add to it? They need to pay up for the damages and detail costs. That's not even my car and I am pissed!
That ceramic coat is holding strong by the way. Y’all did a good job on it
