- In a wide-ranging interview with Network18 Group Editor-in-Chief Rahul Joshi, Union home minister Amit Shah spoke about BJP's resolve of '400 paar' in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. He also bashed out at the opposition over the EVM tampering charges and took a dig at the Congress over its election manifesto while accusing the party of promoting personal laws and politics of appeasement.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah exuded confidence on the Bharatiya Janata Party-led alliance and said that the NDA camp will cross the 400 seat mark in the Lok Sabha Elections. Shah also claimed that his party is moving towards the third phase with well over 100 seats from the first two. The Union Home Minister also claimed that the BJP will win all the 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Rahul, while Amit Shah may be speaking from some internal ground reports, remember, he has fallen flat before. Two notable examples come to mind: 1. Gujarat election of 2017, he was boasting of huge win, but BJP barely scraped through with 99 seats, 2. Karnataka election of last year, once again he was confident of 130+, but ended with paltry 66. I hope be is on the mark this time

you need 2/3 rd for major reforms and constitutional amendments.BJP needs 398 to get a 2/3 rd in the Joint session of Parliament (LS + RS). If they get 398+ then it opens up doors to make constitutional amendments with a joint session of parliament.
All the EVN& VVPAT should be cross checked . Wen you have 2 things it must be used and verified. Public muat not be taken for ride . People have the right to know both the voting reaults .
