Wow just wow You have a awesome set up buddy. You probably have the dream set of any tree trimmer. Heck I used to go do trees. And what an empressive crew you have.
The equipment took sooooo much work out of this job !!!!! The Grove is frickin AWESOME !!!!! With all the know and experience that job went incredible !!!! Great job and Great job editing ❤❤❤ Super nice to see you guy's.... Thank you Reon ❤❤
He’s a very talented tree guy , good businessman. And works very hard for what he has made .. makes me want to try harder for my Tree business to flourish
2:10 you need an edge protector for the strap that’s going over the top of the forks. The steel edge will damage the strap and you will also fail a DOT inspection.
Hi Reon, I've never owned a crane before, so please educate me on this. The crane is large enough to set up on the road and remove those trees without a problem. I understand the picks will need to be smaller, taking a bit more time to remove the tree, but doesn’t carrying all the plywood, mats, etc., and setting up on lawns and driveways take twice as long?
Great question! In this video, the crane is being used in a partial counterweight configuration. In order to reach the trees from the street, I would’ve had to bring full counterweight, which requires an additional truck and trailer, and more time to put the counter weights on. It’s always better to have the crane in the middle of the work area with an equal distance between the trees and the landing zone. This provides the most efficient crane work.
@@reonrounds7404you could also do other jobs with it like air conditioner on commercial building and other stuff are is never ideal piss elm have fun stinky stuff
Wow! You made pretty quick work of getting those two trees removed. Fascinating video. Do you mind me asking just how many dollars of investment we are looking at here?
Better to guess the weight conservatively (over) than under and be over. The right help paired with leadership and a few million in equipment is the safest, cleanest quality outcome for tree removal in residential areas.
Looks like us when we pull up crane Chip truck chipper clam loader for logs bucket truck we take the logs down to our lot and split them up for firewood and sell to the public and also camping grounds county and state parks plus two other crews go out for jobs
The weight is never zero, it’s always reflecting the weight of the pill (the weight with the hook on it) and the weight of the rigging, and also the weight of however much cable is out. The pill on that crane weighs 660lbs, plus the rigging etc, so he’s deducting 1,000lbs for easy math to what he’s reading on the screen.
As a former groundy/rope guy/ green climber first a foremost shaaarrp job 🫡🤌🏾🔥 but is it possible to get the homie phillipe kitted up with a cam to get his perspective in future uploads ? I’ve only gotten to work 4 crane jobs and it taught me so much so fast especially when it comes to processing while still on the line. On top of processing on the ground . Keep on keepin on tho fellas from Pa 💪🏾🤝🏾
I always appreciate your videos, Reon. Thank you for taking the time to keep them very high quality.
It's so ridiculous the amount of work that is saved with a crane like that. Awesome.
And also the whole setup too ! Log loader truck , chip trucks , avant with sick ground protection roller.. Reon is unreal ! What a setup 🎉
Furthermore, it does not always have to be "cool" to record. I love watching your style of doing things. Even the "boring" stuff will be interesting. I'm quite sure I'm not alone on this.

💪yummy... You have a great team ! 😎
Very impressive lawn protection!
Roughly how much does a job like this cost? Normal price here in Norway is $500 per tree, but we have such small trees.
Us fellas that love this kind of work will take all the videos, even the boring ones :-)
professional as always

That was Awsome n how Perfessanals Do it huh ❤
What happened to the crane truck ? Did you sell it ?
totally impressive.
How do you read the screen in the Grove? The numbers we are seeing aren’t close to the weights you announce in the video
Estimated 1000lbs for pill and rigging I’d assume. Takes 1k off of what you’re seeing on the screen
i bet he will have fun splitting that Elm. some of the worst stuff to split
Great video. 😅
good job
Question out of curiosity:
Why a Grove crane? And not idk Liebherr ore Terex…
Smooth
Let’s gooooo!!!
Is that the same property you taught me how to run my crane on?
Ha ha yes! good memory!
Wat‘s the max height on the boom?
200ft
@ oh wow
how much is it for a job like that? guessing $20k?
