The reason Diarmuid was so angry when he died is because he thought Saber knew what Kiritsugu was going to do. He thought she betrayed her honor and acted noble while letting her master kill the professor (and him) in an underhanded way.
professor already used 1 one of his command spell in ep 4 or 5. And father from church have all these command seals because he is the judge and all these command seals are from masters from previous holy grail wars who died without using them.
diarmuid had every right to be pissed His master didn't care for his honor, and called him a traitor for "seducing' his wife. This was extremely hurtfull to him, and it wasn't even over. This so called master, after defiling his honor, made him commit suicide. The reason he was pissed at saber was because he thought she was in on it. Place you in his shoes: you are in mental anguish continuously, and than you think the only person you still respected helped orchestrate your dishonorable death
Personally, I do think Kayneth did truly love his fiancé. Otherwise, the threat by Kiritsugu to kill her would have done nothing. He still sacrifices his servant for the two of them even after she betrayed him. Not to mention, she was the one person he was never an asshole too. He even got visibly jealous when Diarmuid's mole enchanted her back in episode 6 It was only Sola-ui that didn't like their marriage
Lets be honest. Emiya is a genious. And yes, he is not bad, his intensions is good, but this is just a way he thinks is only right. And lets be honest twice, did you seen anything genious like that in anime before? Include this ideology clash dialog between Saber and Kiritsugu. Thats what actually makes Fate Zero more mature anime.
Right. Kayneth loved his wife. Diarmud wanted a chivalric battle instead of protecting his masters. It is the same with saber, who contradicts her value system in fate stay night.
It may be the result of the lack of communication and the difference in values between the mages and the hero. Even with these issues resolved, I think it would be very difficult for Kayneth to beat Kiritsugu...
I love how everything in this episode amounts to kiritsugu saying "war bad" He's definitely tortured by his past, but to think saber doesn't understand making hard choices and getting her hands dirty is silly
I mean, i think she understands it. She just finds it shameful. She is a knight after all. She fights with honor, justice and glory. Emiya only cares about results, any methods are fair play. The complete opposite of her.
@@LucasF25 that's incorrect though. She used such tactics throughout her entire life as king. To the point her subjects didn't even think her to have human emotions. It's a critical aspect of her story in fate, both in fate route and garden of Avalon. She has certain limits because she values human life, bur not above underhanded tactics in fate route nor her own kingship due to being true pragmatist. She's not some "I want a fair one on one battle at all times" kind of person. Zero making her seem very weird about it just to make kiritsugu seem more worldly is strange.
@@MrInuhanyou123 I don't think they were making her different just for the sake of Kiritsugu. They didn't want her to be a static character in Zero, so they gave her a really clever arc imo. She talks about her past tactics in episode 9, I think the idea is that she regrets what happened after her reign and partially blames her utilitarian ideology for it, so she decided to try the noble path this time around, but after what happens at the end of this war, she reacts to it by reverting to her previous ideology. Which makes what happens to her in Heaven's Feel all the more impactful imo.
Never ever will they I think, it's waaay too long and stretched into eternity, the fact alone that Josh watches onepiece (I think) but never reacted to it shows they have little interest in reacting to long animes But maybe I am 100% wrong lmao

You don't need to personally think it. It's 100% true, lol. He used to write her love letters, in the 1990s. Dude was old school and in love.
Kayneth actually DID genuinely love his fiance. She was the one who didn't love him

No that is a snake, terrible and evil person...i don't even know how many people did he kill him...i just glad is death.
Oh damn here we go again I'm ready for this train

You will end up like the professor if you still want to go with your honor way in the holy grail war Im not gonna lie.
