Honestly, might be something as simple as acid reflux. Doesn’t do that much long term damage and it’s something that you could realistically have for over 2 years without further complications

@@kissena3830 My brother has had that for like 25 years, turns out it was something related to thyroids, finally started taking some medication (which was a pain in the ass because it raises his pressure too much and other side effects, but that's another story)

I had no idea she had this issue. I have a very similar one where I'm always generating excess phlegm and it's constantly running down my throat. No idea what it is but I hope mooms works it out and tells us, I wanna fix my issue.

It could very well be asthma. I had this long cough with phlegm for almost 6 months after going to NYC during the winter. Then it hit me I had similar issues as a child. Had an appointment and bingo. Had a proper treatment and now I'm ok.

If no doctors have figured out what the problem is, it is most likely long COVID. Or to be more specific, long-term or possibly even permanent complications caused by COVID.

It could be, but there are other explanations. It's also possible it could be allergies; you can become more sensitive to certain things over time and some things like dust and pet dander could cause a year-round reaction like that.
