Ok, this has been a huge subject for discussion at the firehouse and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Is the spraybar soley for airflow from the purge valve or is it also the flowpath for air on inhalation when activating the diaphragm. Please! I need to know! Lol
Don't bother contacting SCOTT for the "manual" that is "available on request" discussed at 4:44 of the video. If you have not been to a SCOTT service class they won't help you!
Completely taking apart the regulator and cleaning it thoroughly would be the best and safest option always
