Nick can you get Steven Hart onto your show please he is from usa
Don't know if anyone noticed, but there is a "small" 50K mistake in the numbers. When you look at the last 2 lines of the spread sheet, you will notice that in the 3rd month of this year she either had a loss of little over 40K and she made 54K in april or she earned 7K in march and 5K in april.
Either way, the last number in the returns column should only be 155K instead of 208K (start 10K, ending at 165K).
That's an average of 6K each month (which is without a doubt very good), allthough most people would have suffered from a stroke to see their starting capital go down 50% after 6 months trading 😀.
Also it seems no money is withdrawn, so its trading money to add to an existing capital or yearly income (which is obviously also no problem at all, just something that I assume looking at the numbers).
Overall a very good performance. Her strategy works for her, but to be fair it is not a strategy I would like to apply considering the big drawdowns in the beginning (looking at a cumulated capital of 27K going down to 5K over 3 months time). Again something that is fine if you have no problem with that kind of situation, but to be fair not many will be able to cope with.
No doubt she will inspire traders and its fantastic that she dares to show her statements while there are plenty others who never will.
So nothing but respect for this lady. Keep on trading with confidence the way you do, as it should.

Just saw you for the first time yesterday and honestly speaking, I prayed you had an interaction with ToriTrades only for me to see this 1hour ago. You are both genuine and true traders and a reminder to me that being profitable in trading is real. Yes, it is slow, but it's real and I thank you for this.

There Gems in this video.
1. Stick to what you know. often times it's not the strategy that does not work, it is as the trader making poor trading decision
2. Have confidence in yourself and your strategy so you can avoid anxiety
3. There is a fine line between being confident and being over confident. respect the market at all times and be grateful of the positive results you do have.
4. You don't have to trade every setup, keep your positions kept at a minimum.
5. apply rules that help you keep risk at a low
- Understand when a setup does not wok
- Accept the loose you have taken and move on

I would add scale your trades based off your conviction. If you have an A+ setup/S+ setup, it's the clearest trade you've ever seen, etc, go in with a size worthy of that setup.
Also a lot of aspiring traders are backwards, trades going in their favor, and they take profit as it's going up, depending on your strat you should generally be adding when a trade is working. And when it goes against you people often add or "average down" when they should be bailing out instead.

Tori only took 9 trades in 2022 and 12 trades in 2023. Talking about self control, mad respect.
The spreadsheet is showing the summary for each month. The TradeStation statements show more than one trade a month.

I watched another trader channel that does regular trader interviews. This guy being interviewed was a "billionaire" trader. He scoffed at anyone trading trend lines. But then...he honestly claimed he was not in profit this year and was lucky to get 40% wins on a good year I did comment bringing up the great success of Tori. No response was given. Keep doing what you're doing. It's inspirational and shows that what works for you is what you should stick with. Thanks for this interview
In an interview on Investor's Business Daily, Mark Minervini said that during the first six years of his trading career, he made no money. During that time Mark developed an approach and set of rules. Once he defined his approach and rule set, and never broke his rules, he never lost money from then on. Something that sounds so simple, yet the results are proof in the pudding. Thank you Tori!!
I wondered if Tori Trades was legit. I found her here and started listening to her realizing she wasn't trying to sell me anything right off the bat. She is such a happy personality that it is easy to listen to her. When she said she did all her trading with just trends and trendlines, I could hardly believe it. But I already have learned from her with dealing with trends, especially finding the higher probability trades. I imagine when I get to the point that I am more profitable, I would probably not go out and try to teach or sell something. I like her philosophy on trading and hope to adapt that into my own. Oh, her interview with the Humble Trader was exceptional as well as this one was. Good Job Victoria!
There is a calculated mistake on 3/29/2024. If the ending balance of 2/29/2024 is 153,147.24, then the closing balance of 3/29/2024 is negative. It dropped from 153,147.24 to 110,851.06. That is $27.6 in the red or negative.
I submitted 24 months of statements so whatever balance they used for the first statement was the beginning balance for their spreadsheet which isn’t correct? The balance never went to 0 or below that. So not really sure what that was either. Good catch though you’re paying close attention
She did mention that she withdrew every now and then from the account; not sure what the beginning balance has to do with the original comment.
I'm really loving this series. I hope you keep this concept going with other different traders regardless of whether or not it gets views because its very insightful, especially for a new trader like me. So keep the videos coming! 👌
Tori is a great example of how it is not unrealistic to average 10% monthly or even more in the long term (looks like she's doing ~20%). However, I do have to say that her 1 month drawdown is huge, but the rest of the profitable months make up for it anyway. I've mentioned this in one of Nick's older videos about how he thought it's not feasible. I've also mentioned this to another viewer in a video few weeks ago. It's all relative to risk size and strategy. TBH I'm glad Nick started doing this, it'll broaden perspectives, as most viewers think that Nick's performance is as good as it can get for traders. It's really not, it's down to skill, experience, and knowledge. I'm sure someone will ask me if I can pull off 10% on average, I can't. I'm not as skilled as I should be. But I did mention previously that I have friends who have been pulling it off for years.

that's why you trade channels and breaks of channels. I do that in range days and do incredibly well.
This! It’s the instruments she trades so i can see it working. Crude is perfect for this. Maybe the S&P 500 also especially on the 4hr as she does so i can see why it works. People seem to be thinking she’s trading forex or other instruments which is why they think she’s lying because you will get mauled by most instruments with what she’s trading.
I think online influencers do more harm than good to the trading community.

One of the ways is to record the screen share session between the guest and the host, showing the actual broker statements/trades/balance, redacting confidential info such as acct# and address of course. I guess none would show up for that.

Forget about live trading. I asked her how much money she uses to trade platinum futures. She came back with some sort of lame insult. So I told youtube to stop recommending a channel. I thought this was a legit question. The reason for my question was is that she boasts $20K /PL trades at 50 bucks a point. That's a lot of upside for a "swing trader" unless you have huge purse.
I might be talking out of my azz of course. But in my view hardly calls for an insult.
It is hard to tell how much money you use. Ultimately probably most of the account as a margin but the actual position is usually leveraged by the broker.

I have 5K to start trading, my goal is to not lose my money and to make $300-500 a week fairly consistently within a few months. Is this possible or realistic? I’m a complete beginner.
@stuart249 Don't focus on the numbers. As long as you are in profit, that's good. However, there will be weeks where you won't be in profit. Keep that in mind. It's part of the game. Stick to your strategy and grow that account with patience.

Hi there. This series is a great idea everyones been waiting for ages for. However I need to challenge it a little bit in the name of higher quality.
The weakest spot of the current format is that this can be so easily forged. I can craft a realistic spreadsheed of my excellent results and photoshop a broker statement with no effort. So the idea is to make it trustless and robust. First you would announce an influencer to go through the process and you would share an URL to live track their trades, even during given trade. Then after a year or so you invite them to the studio to summarize the results. I know it means slower YT results, but you can pipeline it. Just an idea, Im trying to help. You can do whatever you want with it.
And dont get me wrong. I think what you guys doing here is great, so keep it up and all the best!
Lives comfortably in LA. Earns 6 figures… 🤯 Comfortably? In Scotland you can live in the capital in a good house for that and still get a good life. I’d save and branch into an equity firm. Teach others how to make their businesses in exchange for stocks in their company’s which I’ll invest in.

In the future you should briefly go through the spreadsheet and elaborate on anything that could be misconstrued; ie any balance withdrawals.

Thank you for this Nick. For a couple VERY IMPORTANT reasons:
1. You are pretty much giving the blue checkmark to Tori. She's an impressive young and also very beautiful woman and the public found that a bit hard to believe. With this we can see she is legit and we feel happy that there's more of us.
2. You are creating a club of actual traders that actually have results and can show the actual picture of what that actually is. I can't stress all the actually's enough.
3. We really need to look at this P&L's and understand what is possible and what psychology we need to harness in order to actually pull through the journey.

Hey Nick and Tori, thanks for a great video. Really informative. I like Tori’s style (and attitude 😊) I do need to ask you one thing though: why is it that successful traders like yourselves need to sell courses, videos etc? Your returns are something to be envied, and I would have thought that would be enough? No disrespect intended here, just a genuine curiosity.
I don’t think being successful in one area excludes you from also being successful/ pursuing an interest somewheee else. Just because you’re a successful trader doesn’t mean you can’t have other interests or passions or income streams. Trading is not a 24 hour a day job so if someone has an interest in video production and teaching and wants another income stream, that’s awesome for them. I think it’s strange when people criticize traders making a channel to help others. If it’s a passion of theirs, why not?
Here’s an example: If you had someone who is really good at woodworking and made a living from crafting handmade tables and other furniture, and they also had a TH-cam channel to explain to people just getting into that how to work with the tools and how to cut wood, would that be a problem? Of course not. But for some reason, people are very biased against any traders who are sharing their knowledge and are multi passionate. More power to her to diversify! There’s clearly an audience so why not
I think a lot of why i would believe that she isn't legit is because of just being an influencer to begin with. You don't see a lot of people wanting to actually make content without selling some sort of course/mentorship that has general knowledge you can find for free on the internet. Or having very click baity nonsense like big green random dollar amounts on thumbnails and claiming to an unrealistic high success rate of a single strategy. Things like that are a HUGE turn off for me personally. You shouldn't expect someone to teach you something for free but, if you are advertising yourself like a big neon sign, it makes you seem desperate for people to buy your content or click on your videos for ad revenue, which would make it seem like someone is not profitable in the market because they act like they need clicks. Im not saying she does these things but, just throwing out there why people would target her as not being legit. Ill also go on to say, a majority of people will try a strategy, lose once and think that something doesn't work. I honestly think that's a bigger problem than wondering if Tori Trades is legit or not.

bro 2 year performance for a swing trading sample size is comical (most likely, depending on sample size, and im seeing a sample size of like 25?), means almost nothing, that being said this also does not mean she does not have edge, and also she seems to have a well defined exit strategy that she seems to stick to, which is important

Great to see a younger generation trading for sure. But the auditor in me has to point out that allowing someone to provide their trading statements as proof of success, is like allowing your audit client to select the transactions that you plan to audit.
What would be a better form of proof of success?
@@TheErikaAoki Trading statements are pretty damn good as is considering very few teachers even provide these. OP is mostly concerned about the statements being manipulated or photoshopped. In that case, there are sites that will verify your P/L through broker connection like Kinfo.
She has a sample sharpe ratio of 1.22 which is okay, but nothing mind blowing. She just took a HUGE amount of risk. Would love to see her track record for many years.

I've backtested her strat on alot of timeframes & different futures. I just can't get it to work.. I'm convinced that its a real strategy, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong
@@lukeyoung8084 I trade forex I mostly use fundamentals, I use trendlines just to give me a general idea where the trade "could" go.... Big thing to remember about technicals is that they break all the time.... If you don't know the general direction of an asset then your just lost. That's why it's important to learn fundamentals of your trading asset.

Those % are insane, me personally I'm doing like 2% per month but that way that I operate its almost impossible getting those big numbers but I will never lose my account.

I'm not sure how others prop firms work but I have used Topstep.
You buy a combine aka paper trading. Depending on which one you buy you have certain goals to pass it. Once you pass you graduate to xfa level, still paper trading but also funded.
To receive 1st payout you need 5 winning days of $200. When you have 30 winning days you unlock the ability to receive 100% of your first 10k profit, 90% after that. The goal is to show you can still remain consistent in this level.
If you can they call you up to a live account which is the live markets.
I know you didn't ask for all this info but thought I'd share just incase anyone was curious. There are other aspects you need to know not to lose your funded accounts but it's all in their faq. Pretty straight forward.

The people here are so unbelievably dumb. To the guy above who said it's fishy to make those gains over 2 years with only 24 trading days, I bet you show up to the markets each and every day for the action. Profitable swing trading is about showing up when conditions are most primed and markets are trending. Once you land a solid entry, you can ride those trends for several weeks to several months.
