- Very warm but otherwise quite a pleasant day today, Tuesday, November 13; and I was up early - 7.30 - in order to keep a 9.20 appointment at the local hospital regarding day surgery scheduled for November 26. Not surgery per se, but a gastrophony look see into my stomach. Too much info? More than likely. I hope you enjoy. Thank you. 🙂👍
Was in Anchorage Alaska on one New Years Eve, it was a fun evening but the band started playing that Rawhide theme, everyone started singing along and the place went wild with running horse sounds and yeehaas, thanks for reminding me. I watched the video probe on it's voyage up to the inner spaces on the monitor screen my last exam. EERIE,,, have a great Tuesday,,,
I can just imagine folk reacting to the Rawhide theme, as it had a very good beat even when the song was sung at the beginning of each episode. The sort of music that would make even someone like me, who doesn't have a rythmic bone in his body, start moving to the beat.

I loved Rowdy Yates. I wonder how many people remember the show let alone who played the part of Rowdy Yates. He became a mega star but it didn't get a kick in the US. He needed spaghetti to blast him past the Rowdy Yates role into stardom.
I remember a very young Clint Eastwood in the series; and a series I enjoyed very much. Such a a shame Eric Fleming passed away at such an early age, as I believe he planned to make Eastwood's part more prominent. Oy vey. Still, Clint found fame and fortune in the spaghetti westerns, and has never looked back. 🙂👍
@@JohnHampton I was surprised that Clint Eastwood has a new movie coming out where he plays a guy who transports drugs across the border. It's called Mule. I know he still directs and produces, but this surprised me. The last one he acted in was Gran Torino. Stan Lee passed away yesterday. 😪
Clint Eastwood making another movie doesn't surprise me, but the content of does. Still, it seems such content is par for the course these days. Drugs-drugs-drugs everywhere. Gran Torino was a good movie for all the wrong reasons but reflected lifestyles of some with accuracy. Stan Lee - Had a very good innings - May he rest in peace, and many thanks for his creations. 🙂👍
@@JohnHampton I think Clint Eastwood takes those parts to show the seamier side of humanity. I don't know for sure but he's really a conservative type politically so I think this new movie must be in order to expose more than anything. Gran Torino, yeah I know what you mean. He stood up to the bullies for the kids, but maybe not the best way to portray that. He did the grumpy old man part really well in that movie though. LOL. I may play part of this video in the background of a future vlog. 😀👋 I will say one thing though, for being as conservative as he is politically, Clint Eastwood is very liberal with his love affairs. He's got kids with several different mothers. Most he was married to at one time or another, but not all. He wasn't too far from his rep in some ways.
Good show , rawhide is a favorite show. Usually every Saturday @3pm..that came out a long time ago. Cold here at night , about 40 F.
Thank you, Glenn. I liked Rawhide very much although I don't remember what night of the week it was on. Know we never missed an episode, though. Very warm here today (28 C, 82 F inside my shed as I type), Wednesday, November 14. A little overcast with a coolish north-easterly to south-westerly blowing and the chance of showers latter in the day.

Me too. Never missed an episode. Same with most shows on TV here in the good old black-and-white days. In fact the first TV show me and my family saw was Sea Hunt with Lloyd Bridges. 🙀😛👍👌

I had plenty of colonoscopys and i agree john it can take a toll on you with your problems and i am glad you thought about it buddy. I get all of them things done buddy i with you on all that my friend. As you know i have alot going on still my friend. Awesome video buddy.
I've had one only colonoscopy and it did take its toll on me; and at that time my emphysema was in its infancy; but not now, which is why I decided to forgo it.
And how is life in general treating you, my friend? Same old, same old, most of the time, or are things looking up for you? I remember you saying you were working and driving again; is that still the case? Or has the multiple sclerosis starting to take its toll?

Glad your having the colostomy let's hope it shows something that can be cured and you start to feel better my stats don't drop that much either but gasping for breath is another matter take care
Not the colonoscopy, but the gastrocopy - down the hatch only. I too hope whatever it is that is making my gut hurt can be cured; as I have enough to cope with as it is. Gasping for breath is one. You take care, too, and adieu. 🙂👍
