@hannahmayfilm No offense ma'am but it was extremely gross! Also it was Baker who betrayed her. Why was his new partner punished? And the rest of the crowd was innocent except Baker's black friend.
@@The_Beast_666technically yes Trip betrayed her, but Brenda also had a part in it, she knew Trip and Donna were together, but still went with Trip to the prom, you can tell she was jealous of Donna from the beginning before she threw up on her, the way she looked at Donna at the prom was the "I win" sort of face.
I graduated high school in the 70's. You nailed the look and feel of the time. The writing, costume design, cinematograph, directing. And the acting was pitch perfect. Thank you for this.
I play Trip Baker 🏈 grateful to be a part of this awesome project. Feel free to reply to this comment with any questions about the character or anything Baby Fever!!
this by far is my favorite Alter! i loved everything about it! it was just the right length too…sometimes i want them to go on a little longer, and this one did…bravo! you and the whole production of this should be very proud!♥️💕✌🏻🫶
I remember the 70s quite clearly, as I was in highschool at the time. You all captured the sheer horror of a highschool prom back then perfectly. Bravo to all!
Body horror, parasites, inhuman offspring, revenge story, a nod to Carrie. And toward the end... Donna's rocking the walking dead vibe. If you told me she was a zombie, and maybe threw on a few prosthetic wounds... she'd be nailing it in the facial expressions.
I believe that this horror short film was a different way of showing people how women suffer from teenage pregnancy, but in a kind of crazy way, which is normal for Alter to do 🤡
A little late to comment but the moment Donna projectiled on her "friend" I knew I was in for a highly stylized treat and it delivered at every turn! THIS is taking worn-out horror tropes and making them into something NEW and amazing!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! Bro I don't even like this type of horror and I could not look away! Way to see old tropes with fresh eyes, this was freakin American Horror Story Level retelling!! Loved every single moment.
This was an awesome short movie! Loved the 70s-Carrie-Night Of The Creeps-vibe! This worked on so many levels! The acting was great, as was the story! Great use of practical effects and gore! Even the camera work was awesome! Great job to all involved!! Would love to see more!
Thanks for watching @mrx1333! 👻 Hannah definitely got the assignment - lots of amazing odes to horror greats. We love her so much and can't wait to see what she makes next.
Well, that's one way to get the crown! This was really well done!!! Great work from every person involved! We need more with these actors and this director!
This seems to actually read as a warning to having abortion taken away as a choice, or as having pregnancy pushed on someone that doesn't want it. It's got a goofy spin, but im guessing that's for the sake of making it viewer friendly in a dichotomous environment. Good job, guys. I liked it a lot.
Lmao i lost it when they showed the lil coochie gremlins sliding across the floor and attacking people this is suppose to be horror but this was comical to me good job ALTER 👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽 ❤
Great cinematography, writing, and scenes! Top notch everything. Veronica and I both wished we had watched it sooner. We may have avoided because of the horror, yet your camp humor makes horror fun!
@@hannahmayfilm it s so nice to be able to talk directly with the artist like you, looking the finish product and be responding to the auditor must change a bit the way it s communicate to make cinéma compare to the social media. Thanks for watching @halloweenspookygirluk9595! 👻 That means a lot to us. We're so lucky to work with such amazing filmmakers. What a treat to be able to host their work on the channel.
This is totally irrelevant to the story line but I feel was an important detail! Having people waaaaaay grown out of their teenage years (who clearly look a lot older than a 17yr old) playing teenagers. This was a HUGE thing in the 70s and 80s (especially if you look at slasher movies made around this time) I just thought it was a neat detail! Hollywood still does this but I think they use the idea of the characters being teens less these days and have the characters in their early 20s as it’s easier to find actors who look a lot younger for their age these days, but anyway, if it was done purposefully (which I believe it was because clearly the director and writer really are into the 70s movie aesthetic) I dig that 👌🏽
Damn, I love it! I am a horror fan, and could see this as a feature. I love the small creature sub-genre, like critters, gremlins, ghoulies. This was Carrie, Night of the Creeps, and Slither in one short film. Also I have to mention the important topic of Women's reproductive choices, and the horror's of having your body invaded by a foreign entity. Love the 70's, and 80's look and theme, this is my kind of movie, reminds me of some of my other favs like Frank Hennenlotter, Stuart Gordon, Anthony Hickox, and Roger Corman.Thank you for sharing this film, and keeping the spirit of these colorful comedy/horror films alive! I hope this director makes more films!
hi!! you are spot in with all of these references! im so glad you understood what we were going for :) thanks for the kind words. if you like Dario Argento, I also have a giallo short film on Alter called 'FANATICO'

Why the 70s as setting? It gave me a Carrie vibe, was that the intention ? Sorry for bad english 20:42

Notice how her "best friend" starts immediately copying her let alone her hairstyle, just prove she wanted steal her bf from the start.
Classic move! Thanks for watching @jolexvillanueva3099! 👻

Let’s ignore the fact that she threw up a whole red foundation, ate a frog, and gave birth to ringworms💀
NBD!!
You've never done this? 🐸 Thanks for watching @HVIC10! 👻
An embalmed frog! Those things are always dripping with formaldehyde
Love this! Those creatures look like bloodworms with teeth and are wonderfully creepy & hilarious. Great work Hannah & team!
The little fvking point from Trip like "who me?" and the little gremlin going "yep!"
The ending scene is giving Ballad of Sarah Berry, and I love it.
Awesome job Alter, did not disappoint 🎉😊
