Hey I'm up in Fort Collins and THANK YOU for that clarification. I've been trying to research the similarities/contrasting differences to the flagship LS400 and my 1992 xv10 camry. My camry has no cabin air filter and I wanted to know if the ucf10 early years did. Internet is oddly sparse of info on it. I'd like to get one of these myself eventually if I ever have more room for cars!
Im glad I could clarify! that was my hope. Yeah toyota didnt really start putting them into their cars until early 2000's. I used to work at a toyota dealership and most 90's Toyotas did not have them. Thats why I was surprised that the 94 LS400 did have one
I think you are correct, at least my link may not be so good, I will look around to see if I can find anything parts.lexusstevenscreek.com/oem-parts/lexus-cabin-air-filter-8888050010 88880-50010 is the part number try searching by the part #, you may find some results
I dont know if there is one for 100% sure. Alot of cars didnt really start doing it until the 2000s and up. However on alot of japanese cars here how to do it: open the glovebox, and squeeze the sides of the glovebox inwards. There should be some tabs that when squeeze together you can drop the glovebox down. Then, there will be a little door, it may be screwed on, it might have some squeezey tabs, depress those and slide the air filter housing out and replace. You could also remove the panel similar to this video and see if you can recognize a removeable panel. There is a big chance that your car does not have one. You could also call a local parts store like autozone or oreillys, and see if they can tell you if it has one or not
Ayy keep doing ls400 content
Will do xD
Thanks for this video, very clear instructions and camera positioning. I will be replacing mine tomorrow 👊
Thank you.
Hope it helps!
Detailed and accurate. Thanks
Yes thank you it was very helpful
Where were you able to get your cabin air filter? The links provided seem to be discontinued products now 4 years later.
Good looking out bro
Hope it was helpful!

Heyy make more videos on lexus
Is this the same location for the 91 ls400
I believe the earlier models, 1990-1991 or 1992 did not have cabin air filters at all
You know how to do this on a 1994 Mazda protege?
