Troy is charged for gun possession for the guns found in his van. The gun possession charge of the murder weapon and the attempted murder charge was thrown out after conducting DNA analysis. Troy testifying on Tax at Tax's murder trial was to get a lighter sentence for his own gun case. His gun case is seperate from Tax's case legally, though one could argue they're linked due to cause and effect. Had there been no fight which led to the shootings which led to the struggle for the gun which led to Troy having the gun which led to Troy having his vehicle searched and the cops finding ALL THE GUNS. It all stems from the initial incident. With that being stated, Troy testifying on Tax to get a lighter sentence in his own non related case is snitching. But fuck your enemy nonetheless.
