This place is totally mailing it in now, and has been for years. They don't give much critical thought into sourcing quality meat from properly raised and fed cows; they don't use grass-fed meat, for example, and the cows are not from local farms as one would expect from a self-proclaimed upper-echelon establishment. They are riding on the coattails of a bit of mystique and the legacy of a bygone era, and little else. Just look at all their garbage products on the shelves of highly disreputable chain grocery stores such as Kroger. It's sad, but often an establishment's success fuels its own demise, because inspiration, creativity and the nurturing of its own soul takes a backseat to raking in as much money as possible and not much else.
