I’m on a binge watching as many music production videos on how to start and I have enjoyed yours the most. You’re a great teacher, very clear, informative and to the point. Thank you
You know what it’s really hard to learn something if you don’t know what to learn, how to learn, and you’re just unsure how to move forward, or know if you’re even making progress at all. Thank you for creating content like this!
Excellent video. I'm new to music production and I don't know where to start, but thanks to you I already have got the path traced. Thanks so much for taking the time to make a video like this, so professional.
Great video. I'm sure I speak on behalf of everybody who watched this video when I say, thanks for making the time to have created this video. I really appreciate it. Subscribed.
Great video. I will be purchasing ableton and I already do I a midi controller but dont have a clue as to how to use these things. Thanks for the inspiration and I shall be following your videos closely and applying your tips. Your simplicity in your tutorials are Awesome. I'm a Sub.
What's an appropriate software for live played music? Like a piano or guitar? I looked at the demo for fruity loops but didnt see that there was a way to bring in piano except through the keyboard function.
Hi there, I would just like to ask a question about how to record voice in multitrack mode where I can harmonize with myself. I really don't know anything about audio producing but one must start somewhere. If you know the spiritual singer Mei-Lan, she does that, records a melody line, then replays and sings over it, and builds her track like that. What do I need for that. Besides a good microphone. Thanks so much!
And honestly, all you need to start with (in my opinion) is a DAW, and some sort of headphones. if you are just starting to make sound it doesn't need to be perfect, until you get famous, but by then you will have monitors, and skill to make better sounds.
Thanks brother i am from India i downloaded and starting to learn and will come with music label. Thanks for your valuable content in PDF file i love you.
Hi, I'm Iheanyi. Thank you for this video. I am totally new to this & I have subscribed to your channel. Now I would like to know where to get started. What videos do I start with? Thank you
I'm not exactly qualified to answer this, but knowing the basics of piano is really helpful because then you can use a midi piano to play your base notes, synthesizers, or any random sample sounds you have. That being said it's totally possible to make a song not knowing any piano, but it's probably the most flexible
Paul H haha thanks very much, Paul! I went to Hertfordshire University, lived in Hatfield for 3 years, still have friends living in St Albans but I’m living back in Bicester now, are you based in St Albans?
Hey there! really sorry about this, you can grab the ebook here, and I have an exciting announcement about Ableton tutorials very soon... bit.ly/tajebook2020
I'm trying to make music for 5 years ,2 hours a day, and I still suck. How can I create sounds that I want to create? Sounds just comes up randomly mostly while I'm trying to sound design. There are a lot of mastering and mixing videos. I've watched nearly all of them and tried to do what they did and my 'music' still sucks. How the f people make music?
