(According to Misa's other videos you can make an informal question by just changing the intonation of the last word in the sentence. ) What I'm asking is whether or not 「手伝ってもいい（ですか。）」is used or if the ways in the above video are the only (or most common) natural-sounding ways to offer help.

"can/will you help me with [my homework]", is it: "(anata wa) [watashi no shukudai] o tetsudaou ka." or rather "(anata wa) [watashi no shukudai] o testudai mashou ka.", or something completely different? Probably also quite handful to ask someone for help with something you have to do (cooking, eating, going across the street, finding the way, etc.)
