I REALLY appreciate how all of the new music in this is remixed from other Mario themes. It's so jarring hearing Sonic and Mega Man and Crash music in other ROM hacks.
the first SMW remix on 1:39 is Here We Go! Remix from VLDC7
Also how they didn't import graphics from those games like other ROM hacks which don't match at all. This looks amazing!
I love how the music is remixed from SMW itself. And real bangers as well!

this is great! i love the music, world and level design! it makes me want to go play mario world again :)
I think what I love the most is that the levels feel natural. This was obviously made by someone who paid attention to how Nintendo makes mario levels and tried to mimic the difficulty and layout. Normally with homebrew games, it seems the levels are made to be obnoxiously difficult but this is a nice change of pace.

This is the closest thing I have seen to an "authentic" SMW sequel. So many rom hack sequels out there, but this is more what I would expect a direct sequel to be like, if it was released back in the SNES days
I like how the intro is a throwback to wario land.
Level designs look fun and not over challenging.
The remixes sound tacky, especially with the first song having the uptempo breakdown over the downtempo breakdown.
Overall a solid ROM hack. I think the level designs are the shining point here. Very well done.

The game is awesome, I loved the Thwimp boss fight, but I speak for everyone when I say that the spike top no longer looks like it has 3 pairs of legs, unlike the original Super Mario World game

Everything on this game just looks great to be forgotten on a simple hack... The best way to put it on Switch is redo it on Super Mario Maker 2...

Someone needs to put this on an SNES Cart and sell it to me.
As I've read in another comment, his hack does not work well on real hardware. To much lag.
You could get an emulation machine and buy a snes controller that works with that, personally I just used the snes classic, it's easy to add games to it and it comes with 2 official replica snes controllers
Some feedback for first level. You should add a bigger version of a mountain formation in the middle between front and backdrop. It will give the area more appreciative depth. :)
The hardest part for the music designers must be the Yoshi addition when you ride one

Two things
1. The overworld is totally the Super Mario World beta map
2. The music in Deserted Sands 2 sounds like the original SMB underground theme mixed with the SMW underground theme with the tempo and baseline of the NSMB Wii lava underground theme plus a bit of SMB2 underground seasoning
