This technique totally works! I used those RCA to AV screw connectors instead of the ones you used here but the idea was same. Will comment here after a few months if I face any issues.

@@KHANtalk I have sony HT-S500rf, and the original rear speaker wire is of silver 22AWG, to extend it I used 24AWG Silver one only but the volume is 5-7% Less because of which the other rear speaker is dominating, What to do now?
