I think green plantains are typically used to make chips since they're not as soft. It can also be nice when yellow plantains are brown because they taste sweeter when you fry them :))

I think it’s just remembering that I am a person outside of law school sometime it feels like my whole life but reality is it’s not. Came to the realization the other day that I’m young and while I would love to do law if this doesn’t work out or I found out that I don’t like it (like many people do) I can find something else. The world is full of possibilities. Sending you good energy right back 💕
As someone who grew up in the Caribbean, I’d advise frying the plantain a bit more to get the crispiness. Green plantain is normally used for meals. Also, listen to your hair needs that’s the best way to take of care of it. Love the campus look.

Bc as much as i love architecture, studying and school stuff it is not everything that my life is supposed to consist of!

I feel a little less alone and like I can give myself permission to just do the best that I can, forget the rest. We’re at different points in our educational careers (I’m a senior in undergrad and I graduate in June 🎉) but regardless, I feel like I can relate a lot to your worries and anxieties regarding school. I’m a bit stressed out about how this year will go for me especially after I graduate. Finding a job seems intimidating and slightly improbable given the current world climate. I feel a lot of pressure to find a job rather quickly as I will be loosing my health insurance in the very near future. All that to say, watching your videos has brought me some peace, joy, and companionship. And for that, I thank you. I'm hoping to work on that in therapy but I needed to hear that I am my own personal not solely a future law student, so a massive thanks for that.
hey Leandra! I also have low porosity hair and protein is fine in moderation. Like if you wash your hair every week you shouldn’t be doing a protein treatment or using a deep conditioner with protein in it every single time you wash it. i try to do use one with protein in it once a month but it truly depends on your hair some people do it every 3 weeks some once every two months so it really depends! love your vlogs and all your videos!

If you have plantains that are starting to go bad or turn yellow you can bake them in the oven and cook some meat to put in them. All you need to do is peel it and cut it down the middle, but not all the way and let it bake in the oven then put meat and cheese on it when it comes out. It's really good I do it all the time. In Spanish its called Canoas de Platanos Maduros if you want to look it up!
