19:00 I can totally relate. My parents are both West African. Father Nigerian, and mother Salone. All they did was work. I didn’t even get to participate in after school activities 😂. Having a daughter now, I make sure by the time she is out of school I am home, and that is while working to obtain a law degree. Her daddy not so much, but I do understand being an engineer there is no set schedule. So I can totally relate. Take it in stride, and be the best you can be when your time comes ❤
Only halfway through but commenting so I don't forget to later: I just saw this tiktok this morning about how to adapt graduation caps for black hairstyles: tuck the stretchy part in and glue a headband to the inside part with the tucked in stretchy part! You could then conceal the headband with your braids!!
It was so crazy to see Mayor Bibb at your school because he graduated from my high school and is my mayor since I am from Cleveland. I hope he was a good speaker!
hey sweets, i suffered from adult acne for the first 5 years of my twenties and no matter what i did, nothing helped. the issue indeed up being that the birth control i was on, was causing a hormonal imbalance that caused chronic acne. not sure if you’re on BC or not BUT that could be it! worth looking into. hope that helps!
